Very interesting game! As others have pointed out, it just needs a checkpoint, atleast when we use the respawn mechanic. Nice work!

The concept has a lot of potential! The only problem is the hitboxes can be a bit janky (like when the tiles are painted or when I suddendly get stuck), but overall, very nice work! :)
