Great game, I've made a weird challenge thingy. Not balanced in anyway, vague & none of the achievements are suggestions for actual achievements if they are ever to be added. Feel free to do whatever you want with this weird thing i've created.

Simply because I don't use it over cube of meat or Tooth & Nail because of the synergies being the focus. Sharp plug, Frosty Mint & Sanguine Bond are all broken as fuck. I don't even use BFF neither, I usually am fine without stuff like BFF or Snowball. But I agree I can't say any of the babies I don't use are bad, none of them are, they're just not for me.
Shit I should point out I love using Paschal candle, double damage plus small aoe is amazing to me, I don't really care about space efficiency too much because it doesn't impact me usually.
I don't like how harlequin shoots and crispy is lower because using other towers special effects + paschal candle feels better.
Brain worms goes for its lane then other lanes, little stevens gang up on enemies going for the closest in their 3-2 range.
Brother bobby is all you need for damaging babies in basement on literally any loop, actually for that matter honestly you can use default kit for basement. It's really not that hard.
I use bob's brain earlier on a round to greed more lil chads and to tank mulibooms and sperm whales.
I just don't like the price of dry baby, i prefer tooth & nail & cube of meat because defensive item synergies are OP and they are the cheapest of the defensive babies.
That's fair, I don't use it that often but I also just don't care about mums hands, usually they for the back most row and chads are only 2 hearts also I have mega ptsd from doing Challenge 5 on 0.1.4
Same as the active item one but with more than twice the amount to rank. A ton more subjective too. Updated to 0.1.7.1
Some nice facts about items
Poke Go - Gives you a random monster as an extra slot for towers (babies), you get get almost any monster and they're usually pretty tanky.
Dr. Medical - Not about the item but defensive babies (Meat Cube, Tooth & Nail, etc) already have this effect meaning this item is only useful for 'healing' your squisher units.
Blanket - Tanks a gun shot from mega plum. Haven't tested it on RagDolls or Middle Horns Insta kills (Ragdolls purple skull OR Middle Horns ice hyper beam) but I assume it works.
Isaac's Fork - Still counts as not using heart producing babies, use Spike Baby + Sanguine Bond & Defensive babies for an easier time on Chapters 1-3 on Mines and Ark.
Mystery Gift - Can you give Imp, Imp is a unit that has 2-3 range, does the same damage as Brother B. but is FREE to place. Super useful for placing in-front of early spawned Mulibooms, Sperm Whales or for tanking units in general.
I recommend on general runs (aka these don't need synergies) Deserter, Fiend Friend, Frozen Baby, Imp, & Tooth & Nail
Most of the unlocked babies power creep their competition so I use them. Unlocked ones I like are Tooth & Nail, Paschal Candle, Psychic Baby, Fiend Baby, Deserter (Ofc, it's op af I know, I'll explain why if needed), Dry Baby & Parasitoid.
In terms of babies which come without being unlocked include B, Bobby, Cube of Meat, Bob's Brain, Frozen baby. Mongo Baby, Multidemensional Baby, Spider Baby, Spike Baby, Imp (from Mystery Gift item) & Little Steven .
What I use depends on what else I'm using, like I use Paschal Candle with Brother B. (if I don't have any other lane shooter) or with Psychic Baby.
Some things like tank (referred to as defensive babies in the game) babies are amazing with Frosty Mint and/or Sanguine Bond.
