Hi. I'm pretty sure the vid you followed was based off my guide. If it's this video (Look below) then I made that guide. Don't worry about saving. The cloud save is your save related to steam, aka the real game. Your local save will be the modded one since it's not connected to the cloud, but rather your computer. Do not worry about saving at all, and if you have anymore questions.

Check the version folder. There is two folders, one with the most recent and one with all the version. Simplt just match up the version of NEM with the depot download

Hey. Did you follow the steps correctly? Follow exactly what the guy in video says. but instead of finding all the code stuff, just use the one I provided. After that simply download V49 of NEM in the google drive and do what you normally do. Also you prob shouldn't say it doesn't work, cause it does work, you just need to do the steps correctly.

Are you talking about my previous post? If so then why didn't you respond to that one? Well, It doesn't matter. That's pretty weird. It works for me. Make sure you install the previous 1.05d version of the game and also install the one that says 0.49b in the NEM google drive which is the version of not enough madness for 1.05d that you're supposed to install. Make sure you did the steps that, if you have anymore problems respond. P.s. As long as you do the steps correctly, it will be fine, and if you don't understand the steps we can always get in contact on discord so you can screenshare what is going wrong, but I won't have a mic. If you don't understand the steps and we can't get in contact on discord, then you just have to wait and be patient.

Hello, because the NEM mod is currently not working, I resorted to the JEM mod, which is sort of the little sister/brother to the NEM mod, since it is a mod for the demo instead of full game. The thing is, steam doesn't let you install the demo if you own the full game, so I installed it from gamejolt at https://gamejolt.com/games/MADNESS/647294. I was wondering if the JEM mod would still work if I downloaded the demo not from steam? So if you know please tell me.

Definitely not. As much as the creator wants to include people, they do NOT support piracy. HOWEVER, there is still a way to have fun with the mod! Just, somewhat of a lite version. The creator XDefault made another mod called "Just Enough Madness" which is basically not enough madness for the demo. It may be limited (because it's the demo), but it still let's you have fun with the mod for free, and it's much better than piracy.

Well I'm not an expert on this topic, but I think I know why this is happening. Well, there was a recent update for MPN on November 1st, due to this update, NEM is technically outdated, meaning that the game will not launch. I think it's best for you to just verify your game files and play vanilla MPN while waiting for v50 (I think?) to be released.
