I thought it served a really good purpose, to show why MC and Vera don't overindulge like that in the future. It's a tragic lesson learned. They both messed up, and they both feel equally ashamed, as they should. It also serves to show the player that bad things can happen. Maybe MC could have been portrayed as being less in control of himself so it was a little more obvious that he's making a mistake he'll regret. Vera is portrayed exactly like that, which makes it seem a little less like they are equally complicit, as they are.

Good game so far. The women are cute, and developing the relationships is fun. It seems like if you progress everything, you eventually get a message that you've reached the end of the story so far. Am I right in assuming that the current end-of-game is just endless, easy fun times with the 3 women who love you the most, and no possibility of progressing anything after those messages show up? I'm quite looking forward to someone walking in on the fun and finding out how I spend my days. The "I'm so glad I'm not the only one" moment is going to be sweet.

Holstein Girls does a great job at delivering on the breast expansion and lactation subjects. It gets a bit dull due to nearly all scenes being just a static image of a girl over a background, making it visually very limited. Still, quality work was dedicated to making those images look good, and appealing. There are enough girls, and enough of a varied plot for each, that I found myself wanting to explore the next step with each just to find out what happens. Some of the stories are very erotic, while others feel a little too limited by the goal to be pornographic. I'd love to see what the talented CowgirlDev can do with a more ambitious, story-rich, and visually stunning game.

This is practically the gold standard.

Choices I hope to see in future updates:

* When Wife confronts MC about impregnating Kailey, she demands a blood test, since the girl might not be his daughter at all. Will you accept her as your pregnant sex doll daughter without question, or verify the truth? Unrealistic but possibly beneficial choice would be to decide as the player if she's his real daughter or the daughter he's always wanted, even though she's just a stranger. The game almost, but doesn't quite, have incest. Give us a choice for it to be incest for real, or just a relationship with a sweet girl who has daddy issues.

* Wife and Kailey might be open to having sex with each other, giving you a full sex triangle. Do you encourage them to challenge their sexual limits, or do you enforce monogamy on them, allowing you to be the only one who sexually satisfies both? Either option is sexy.

* Since I happen to love the dominant/submissive relationship, I hope you are given the choice to pursue that dynamic (flipped either way, of course) with MC's boss, rather than the workplace choices so far given only leading to job success. Just an idea, but it would be fun if the boss were into pain, either as a masochistic sub or a sadist dom, but not in a way that forces the MC to be into pain as well (she wants to deliver or receive pain for her pleasure, not MC's).

* Either Miss Side Piece is actually being set up to be villainous, or we need a lot more choices governing how MC's relationship with her develops. I would have chosen not to tell her the truth about the issues with Kailey, for instance. But, sometimes your MC has to do something stupid, so I get it. I hope there's more choice given in the future, though.

* When Boss Lady finds out about MC's affair with the receptionist, I hope there's an option for it to be a threesome, and I hope that if we choose to dominate or submit to the boss, Side Piece joins in on the fun and plays along. Having two subs or doms is better than one, after all.

* Kailey and the barista are close in age, have the same interest (MC), and have similar sexual experiences (also MC) so wouldn't be too intimidated by each other. Will you encourage them to be friends or do you keep your secret by making sure they never meet? Maybe she wants to work as a barista, now that she quit her job? If you decide Wife and Kailey are bisexual now, then Kailey and Barista should get it on. Or, maybe they both think it's hot to be friends who share a sexy Daddy, like sisters.

* It's probably beyond the possibility for an erotic visual novel to give us the option to either repair MC's marriage or continue down the dark path he's on in the beginning (basically, make two stories with little in common with each other). Like I said, the marriage problems could be a whole VN without the daughter or anything else added, the sky is the limit here. But, some limited choices with her would be wonderful. Do you keep your wife happy or force her to accept your infidelity and sex addiction? Do you choose to be with Kailey instead, and let the wife go? Do you try to change the wife, and do you do it for her benefit or yours?

The best visuals I've ever seen in a VN, bar none. Beautiful, with careful attention to detail, lighting effects, and humans who have progressed out of Uncanny Valley.

The story is a mix of lazy erotica and interesting interpersonal dynamics. While the relationship with the wife Justine seems at first glance to be an obvious and lazy way of giving you a woman for whom you'll feel no loyalty, the relationship is merely strained, not ruined. There are multiple times that it seems like you could focus the entire VN on repairing this relationship rather than anything else. There's hope for your marriage. The "daughter" Kailey (who might not be MC's daughter, for those of you skeeved out) is just as beautiful, and fulfills a man's natural desire to be needed. The relationship with her is rushed, lazy, lustful, and uninteresting. She goes from new-found acquaintance to sex toy in an instant, with virtually no lead-up. This section of the story seems like it should have been enough of a focal point that it would have gotten a lot of attention, and been developed into a plot of seduction (on her part or MC's), with tension between desires and the impropriety of it. Instead, she surprises MC with her desire, that tension is given a little lip service in his thoughts, and then it's on to sex. It's so rushed that the eroticism is ruined. I would have found this far less disappointing if the story had focused on the eroticism rather than the pornography of showing another sex act. The side piece from work, Cassidy, provides plenty of that on her own.

Speaking of the side piece, here are more mixtures of good and bad writing. She serves to introduce us to MC's sex addiction, which might have been a very interesting story element to explore (may still be in the future, if it's treated with some seriousness and not just used as an excuse for more sex). However, her "serial monogamy," as she puts it, and her devotion to MC just doesn't fit her personality at all; she decides out of nowhere that this anonymous hookup partner is going to be her one and only, at least for a while, even though he's married. It's an obvious lie, too, since she's been having sex with the barista girl. She is, on the whole, very sketchy, and untrustworthy. However, MC blunders into telling her about the sexual tension between him and Kailey (even though that tension lasts less than a day), putting him at great risk. It seems like this oversexed receptionist is being set up to be a villain who ruins MC's life because he's too careless to: 1) not tell anyone about his extra-marital affairs, 2) keep his desire for Kailey a secret, and 3) verify that the barista she presents to MC as a sexual gift is at least old enough that he won't end up in jail. That last one is a bit more flexible because she could be legal and younger than 18 or at least 18 and still too young to legally consent, depending on the player's local laws, but since nothing establishes her age, and Miss Side Piece is being perfectly set up to blackmail (or worse) MC, it seems like just another risky point that's going to come back to hurt him. He's more careful to not get taken advantage of by the girl who thinks she might be his daughter, who wants him for nothing but curiosity, than by the slut who gets everything she wants just by offering easy sex. If it turns out that the completed VN has her as a villain who uses MC's careless sex addiction to ruin him and line her pockets, I'll be impressed at how well that was set up. If not, then me mentally shouting, "No, you fool! You can't trust this bitch at all!" was for nothing. I hope it pays off somehow.

There's a promising story with MC's boss that has yet to develop. You're given the option to take a dominant or submissive path with her. In any other kind of VN this might just be a good or bad choice, but since this is an erotic VN and she's a hot woman, I'm assuming it will lead to another sexual affair where you get to either dominate or submit to her. It's a good setup, handled well, because you're left wondering more about the effects your choices will have on MC's job than on whether you're going to eventually see her wearing a slave collar or a strap-on.

The relationship with the wife is also promising. There are a few ways it's hinted that Wife and Kailey are a little too familiar to just think of each other as strangers or rivals (so far they haven't known each other long enough to be anything but both), but instead see each other as a desired sexual partner. I'm a bit worried this is going to be forced on us, instead of being a choice. I could see the plot developing where Wife and Daughter get a little too drunk, start talking about their mutual lust for MC, and end up all over each other. If would be wonderful if we're given the choice between a bisexual wife and daughter, or keeping both of them straight, while still getting a threesome. I'm not personally into getting cuckolded, even by a woman, so I'd prefer it's a choice. It's pretty obvious that the plot is leading to Wife finding out about Kailey being MC's sex doll, and Wife being perfectly okay with it, as long as she gets dicked on the regular. That's fine, I just hope it's more interesting than the plainly predictable plot we've seen a hundred times in other games. Her being the MC's wife, and the complexity of their relationship, is another plot element that has a lot of promise. So much so that an entire VN could be written based on nothing else but this one relationship, with or without any erotic elements.

This game's visuals are simply astounding, and it's worth checking out for that alone.

Really witty dialogue! Very snappy and tight, skipping over unimportant, pointless filler that other games seem to include just to pad the wordcount. The MC has a fun personality, (described by one of the girls as "fake confidence" but more often he gets called an asshole in a mostly lovable way) and the girls each have distinct character. Also, the grammar is good, which is much appreciated. Delightfully comedic, and fun to just experience as a character story. The story respects the reader by avoiding most silly conveniences, and features some character growth. Writing 9/10

The renders are fair, but the faces really suffer from lack of variety and believably, leaving no one looking actually human. Without exception, every person looks like an immigrant from Uncanny Valley, or from the sketchbook of a manga fan who refuses to study any other type of art. The mouths are especially painful to look at, since every person has the same creepy, wormy mouth with a fat upper lip. Most of the beauty the women have is achieved through expression alone. However, the sets and backgrounds are high quality, and really add to the world, sprucing up the scenes. The characters sometimes change outfits (very surprising and welcome) and some of the dialogue actually points out how strange it is for someone to have on the same clothes they wore yesterday. Most animations are well-done. Visuals 6/10

For a breast expansion game, the breasts sure don't get very big, at least until completing one very narrow ending path. The largest is merely "large, but very realistic tits," instead of "fun megatits." As the girls get bigger, they are full of complaints about it as much as anything, and the game infuses a bit too much realism for this to feel like a silly fantasy, despite so many other elements of the story being nothing but silly, unrealistic fantasy. So, if you love titties but hate breast expansion, this is the breast expansion game for you. Wholly disappointing for the fans of massive titties, who by and large don't care that the growth was 8 cup sizes when the starting point was the character's bare ribs. For instance, a girl with moderately large boobs says she wants her tits to stop growing "while I can still fit through doorways without turning sideways and squeezing through one boob at a time." It's realistic and believable, sure, but that realism doesn't add even a little bit of eroticism or sexiness. Complaints ruin fun. Like this complaint I'm making. Not fun, is it? The sex scenes are well-done, but the efforts made to avoid most (not all) non-consensual acts includes the disgusting mood-killer of "I have to ask for consent for this," without the characters acknowledging how awkward, clumsy, and cowardly that is. Much of the sexuality is "boy and girl get horny and stumble through it cluelessly," which can be great, but also suffers from lack of variety. The game would earn bonus points for it being a genuinely good harem story, if that harem story weren't relegated to the final update only accessible through one of the many endings. Eroticism 5/10

I highly recommend this game for the story. If you don't care about story, I hope this review lets you know if this game is worth your time.

I assume I'm not the target audience for this game. Don't get me wrong, it's a well-made game! The visuals were excellent, and I really liked the exhibitionist opportunities that were presented. However, when it came to the sexual opportunities, I played this game like it was the 2023 edition of Virginity Protection Simulator, which is probably the wrong way to play it. I was holding out for something meaningful, trying to make sure the main character isn't just a cheap whore. I was a bit disappointed that #13 didn't offer me a way out at all (or, if a prior choice lead to that, I wish I'd have been warned that the choice leads to giving away her virginity so cheaply). But, I'm quite sure that I'm in the minority, and most people would have realized that the word Casual in the title should tell you this isn't about developing relationships. I don't know what made me think I'd have the option to keep the MC a virtuous woman. Probably delusion. I've only ever played erotic games with a male protagonist, and in those games I've played, almost all sexual encounters are dependent on a relationship first. This game is the first I've encountered where the choice for "This might be a bit of fun" turns into "put your dick in my virgin pussy please, stranger whose name I don't know," in less than a minute. I'm sure people love the game for that, but I'm not one of them. I only wish this design choice had been a bit more clear in the description; something like, "This isn't a dating simulator, and you aren't going to develop relationships with your sexual partners. This game is about increasingly wild, loose, and carefree casual sex, for the sake of sex alone. It's called Casual Desires for a reason."
