As much as I enjoyed playing this, I get the feeling it's unbeatable (even if it's not, it's the impression I get). I couldn't get a score over ... hmmm... The score counter disappears when you lose.

IF it doesn't start with the start.* files, it may be that you don't have enough free memory. You can try double-clicking on the weather-to-live.jar file to start with the default amount of memory, but you won't be able to use the largest datasets.

I don't have VC, I just ran the exe in the Release dir, and did so with Wine under Linux. It didn't (for once) complain about missing dll files. My theory about the div-0 is that there are no walls, and as such is an induced bug.

When I close it, the window disappears but it still consumes 100% CPU. (Have to kill the process.)
Just a warning to others who might not notice it.

I just get an empty world without walls, only the left&right keys work, and when I press F3 then click, I get a divide-by-zero crash

It's like the opposite of my entry. I can't run it because of Wine and it's perpetual .NET dll issues

The mouse control is very awkward. When you move the mouse quickly it skips parts and doesn't draw a solid line. Also the 'brush' seems offset to the top-left.
