Simple but fun. The range enemy was a bit tough to make pass through. Perhaps adding a dive button to go fast would help.

Very funny script. I love the clear inspiration from ace attorney. You should definitely expand this into a full game. Add some more detective mechanics. But as an interactive cutscene, this was awesome!

A neat rapid paced idea. Great submission. It was oddly addictive and I kept trying to save all the fish. But alas, the shark boys are too fast for me lol.

The style of the game was incredibly well done. There was not much gameplay (similar to the game we made lol), but there is certainly an interesting start/ concept to a game here. Excellent submissions!

I love the 4 directional melee attack. That work very well. It's rewarding when you figure out more than just horizontal ways to beat the enemies. The game is pretty difficult from the jump. Art is well done. Great submission

This game needs to be rated by more people! Very fun controls. Looks beautiful. I LOVED the intro with the other dead characters that look like you. The only complaints I have were bug/design related.

The game gets pretty hard but ammo and health is hard to come by. When dying, ammo and health is not replenished but enemies are reset. Which if this was a rogue like, would be fun, but I think you want your average player to experience the story.

I also had an issue with the bullets in the (assault rifle?) Sometime, I think when there were a lot of moving parts, the bullet would be stuck to the tip of the gun and not shoot out. I think this is a frame rate issue but I'm not sure. Also eventually my ammo froze and I was no longer able to shoot. Unfortunately I had to stop after.

Lastly, in the beginning, how ammo worked was confusing. Usually the number on top and bottom are handled like call of duty. Your way is more realistic but since it's not the standard, I would find a way to visualize bullet count better.

Excellent entry, just a few kinks here and there. Best of luck!

Fun game. Similar bug to another comment but I pushed into the 2nd water block and started infinitely moving to the bottom left. I think pushing the water with the character is unintentional as you said but that is what is causing it I believe. Again, neat game though!

(1 edit)

Awesome idea, I could definitely see this being expanded into something more but again, awesome for a game jam. I had issues grabbing the black and white fish at the bottom left, but otherwise I didn't experience any bugs. Finished at 3:18  B)

Fun game, the boundaries seem a bit small though and I wasn't sure what was going on the first time I ran into them.

fun game, at some points though it seemed like the backgrounds blended in a bit with what the ledges actually were making it a bit difficult to to tell if something was a wall or just the background, for example the trees in the grass area are a very similar green to the underside of the ledges.

Fun movement and very fun atmosphere made by the art/sounds

I was a bit confused by how the reforge mechanic worked at first, overall fun but I wish there was more card variety in the starting deck or a quicker way to replace cards

The timing of the spikes was hard to manage but satisfying once you make it through them.

Fun game with a nice art style and sound track, it was a bit hard to figure out the mechanics of how the grabbing worked at first.

Hi, thank you so much for the feedback. In order to get the weapons you need to beat the rooms with the corresponding color, once that is done the block should disappear, are those not functioning as described here for you? they seem to be working on my end.
