You probably cant see the "energy" of the game since i made the decision of hiding the "energy" resource counter since everything else is using the converted value of matter.
The generators are energy generators. And 1 matter is 100 energy.
I should have made it more visible, if i had more time there was going to be an additional strategy element that you needed to connect power lines to your towers.

But to note some stuff from number 2, there is a boss counter in the spawner menu. And quickly seeking through your video, it looks like you didn't get the victory screen? I'm sorry. i will get like 20 minutes of time later today, This may be one thing i might be able to look at and change. its suppose to pop up when you kill 5 and show you the time it took you.

Research!
Soon to be introduced, a Research lab building that will generate resources depending on its adjacent buildings. Extractors grant red, Solar panels grant Blue, and anything else/nothing grant green. For now.
This science will be used in a what will eventually become, a huge research tree. Starting with some very important things to make the early resets a lot easier will be things that make your units stronger every xx levels. The way they stand right now is quite linear, and a level 150 unit artillery can still destroy a level 250 weak unit. Although that is by design by being a counter so to speak, Research will help this struggle players will find in the <150 level area.
Research will be used for a lot of other things, One of the most important ones will be the concept of making upgrades cheaper so you can get to higher numbers quicker, and make them resets less work.
