It can handle it, in fact I managed to squeeze out so much performance that it allowed me to add mod support with a few extensions, and it could be a nice challenge for us :)

Would you like to collab on a scratch racing game? I've made some realistic physics and a 3d effect with converted 3d models from blender, and realistic engine sounds and physics

Schaut euch gerne mein spiel Flood Escape Simulator an :)

Danke!

LIST OF KNOWN ISSUES IN PIXEL DRIVER 3D

Cars can sometimes drive straight through solid objects: This is an issue with my age old crash physics, fixing it will be time consuming but it's certainly possible. FIXED

Aurora R9 doesn't have working lights: The R9 is the first car to use the new loading system which is in its early stages. This will be fixed once I implement dynamically scaling headlight cookies.

Aurora R9 is invisible for a few frames after switching cars: Again, this is because of the new loading system. While the legacy cars with their old models and looks are pre-loaded at the start of the game, the new cars will be loaded from a zip file once you switch to them. Because this game is made in Scratch, the process takes a few frames in which the car cannot be rendered. (likely can't fix, definitely won't fix)

Legacy cars have weird models: These are the first models I've ever made and they contribute to the feel of the game in some ways, so I will keep them. ONE OF THEM IS FIXED, MORE TO COME

Ambar: 3273.86 lbs.

Arrow: 571 hp, 479 ft-lb, 3571.49 lbs.

Arizona: 400hp, couldn't find torque data but likely ~330 ft-lb, weight is 2844 lbs

Berlin: looks like an R8 LMS, so 585 hp, 405 ft-lb and 2700.66 lbs.

Betty: 282 hp, 322 ft-lb, 3428.19 lbs.

Blacklist: 387 hp, 287 ft-lb and no weight data

Boss: 380hp, 450 ft-lb, 3870 lb

Bremen: 221 ft-lb, 3461.26 lbs. assuming it's the E60 530i

Yea I was already thinking that this might be a design decision, I will dig through all the other cars and let you know if I find more inaccuracies!

I really like the artstyle of the maps, giving off major art of rally vibes, well made game!

The specs for most cars are really inaccurate however, it doesn't make much sense to me that something similar to a BMW M4 has close to 800 hp while the Audi R8 has its IRL 550 hp

Maserati MC20?

(Maybe I could send you the 3D model I made to speed things up)

1. Making a game is hard work

2. Making a banana controller is something that noone has ever done before

3. He gave credit to the guy who made the car models, even put a link in both the youtube and the itch description

4. if you think the controls are too hard, maybe get good instead of complaining about everything.

5. THIS IS A FREE GAME, PERIOD.

He didn't copy jelly drift, it's actually a unique game, but he fraudulently resold assets for a lowered price. (It has been taken down after intervention by me and the original creator)
