Hey, thanks for watching! I might make more cool stuff like that in the future. Also, really cool stuff! The depth effect was on purpose, though it's a side effect of how the rendering itself is done. And that last one looks awesome- I personally didn't manage to get anything cool from 3 screens but you nailed it.

This game is amazing, the art looks great, and the gameplay is great as well.
My main concern is that the player's hitbox is MASSIVE. I'd imagine that it's the same size as the actual sprite. I suggest making it smaller and more square shaped to make it easier to evade the attacks.
Also, the lack of sound when I take damage makes it hard to tell when I actually take damage. I've been playing Undertale lately and don't actually look at the player when I play- so I can't tell when I'm taking damage.
Otherwise, great soundtrack, great gameplay, great story, and great game. Amazing job!
The pulsing effect is because the screen becomes brighter, so your camera adjusts and so displays darker. Then the screen becomes darker, so the camera adjusts and displays brighter, which ends up in a loop.
I haven't been able to figure out how to do it with my camera but I suggest that if you can, you switch it to manual to prevent that from happening.
Looks like a fun concept, if it wasn't broken. The third level doesn't contain any secondary spirits, making it impossible to pass as far as I know.
The ground texture could look better. If you made them pixel art, then in the sprite settings you can change filter to "Point (No Filter)" to keep its pixelated look.
Will def check out your fix after the jam's over.
Very fun game. The way you can keep going as you play the game and unlock more areas as well as the size of the map is great. I ended up playing it for half an hour before realizing I had more games to rate lol. I managed to find four trophies but couldn't find a way to unlock the golden one.
Only piece of feedback I have is to add a map that can show you what you've seen, as well as where you are / where your tube is. The additional dialogue throughout the game as you unlock more and more of the map is great as well.
Music fits the game really well, definitely has its underwater feel to it.
As of fixes I would just say maybe make it so your tube doesn't get stuck on corners at times. (Maybe round the corners a bit?) Very fun game, 10/10 would love to see the map expend even more.
And just as a general question, how many coins are there in total / how big is the map? I got to around 200 coins.
Thanks! A lot of people have told me i've overdosed the chromatic aberration... The art actually wasnt my me, it ended up being a friend who made it. I couldn't get myself a credit section in time :^( but ill tell them you like it!
Im glad you like the level generation. Took me a while to figure out and it could work better ( especially if you load the maximum 1k rooms and get 7 items every time, 7k items loaded at once!) But I couldn't figure it out In time.
Although I think the game is finished. I won't push it any further as it was done in the 48hrs window and I want to keep it that way. Like you said, more items would've been nice, but I couldn't get ideas or enough in time.
Thank you so much for the feedback! It's really helpful and I will probably put it to good use on my next Jam.
You seem to be one of the very few people that actually enjoyed the invis platform! Most people seem to have disliked it. Unfortunately tho, the game is in it's final stage and will no longer be updated. These 13/14 (I can't remember with unused level 9) levels are all you will get. But hey, thanks for the feedback!
