Good game for a first try! The sphere controls are very fluid, and shooting has a nice kick to it (thanks to the sound effect, too).

Next time around, I'd focus on making the visuals clearer (e.g. by making the player sphere bigger so its importance is obvious).

 Keep it up!

Thank you, Goblin! Glad you liked it :)

Hi Enreeper! Thanks for giving our game a spin. That bug have eluded out attention, thanks for spotting it. Let me just say, that the story has a happy ending : )

The best game of CGJ2019 I've played so far.

Top marks throughout: you nailed the theme and the execution is amazingly detailed for a game developed in such a short period of time.  My only feedback is that I wasn't really incentivized/intrigued to keep playing after the first level; perhaps a storyline would have helped.

I hope you get one of the prizes :)

Thanks for the detailed comment! Your game is a beast!

Hi JK! Appreciate the comment; we'll make sure to source a better mic for future games! I liked your entry, too.

Thanks, Kamran, appreciate the kind words. I posted a few thought regarding your game just now.

Thank you! Indeed, going to Westeros would be nice... maybe in the sequel. Btw, I have just reated your entry.

Interesting concept! The narration is top-notch, made me truly uneasy at times :)

If you decide to work on the game some more, I'd suggest making it more dynamic visually: e.g. rooms with different designs, hover states for the doors, maybe an animal running through the screen while you listen to the narrator, etc.

I found both the theme and visuals interesting. Also, the music is good. Unfortunately, I had a hard time fighting enemies. Maybe make the camera follow the player like in a TPS. Likewise, the combat system could benefit from some sophistication, but of course, one week is quite short to fit all these features in :)

Thanks for the effort, keep it up!

Liked the graphics and the music, too. However, camera controls and bugs stopped me from enjoying the game. That's unfortunate, because I liked the idea of "smash-buttons-to-kill".

I hope you can work on the game some more :) Keep it up!

Thanks :)

We'd be honored :)

Nice, polished game, shows professionalism in each aspect (graphics, audio, creative game mechanics, etc.)

If only the controls were a little bit tighter... :)

Thanks, mate! Also enjoyed your game a lot!

Hi Mika. I agree, the game would be a bit easier to get into without the lie in the menu. The reason we put it in is to teach the player to read the signs. Literally :)  And that's how you can get past the four girls.

Thanky you for the feedback.

Glad you liked it :)

Oh, that makes a lot of sense! Maybe the rabbit boss could mention stg. like "You sure can't escape from here" :)

Cool graphics! The animation is cute, and some of the texts made me chuckle.

Keep it up, UkaChaka!

A fun twist on the carnival game: you're the toy! As a fan of The Matrix and Max Payne series, I also enjoyed that you can enter Bullet Time :)

If you intend to develop this further, I'd suggest to add some kids/parents standing around to convey the carnival setting even more.

The art style (both visuals and audio) is outstanding. I did have difficulty figuring out how the puzzle pieces  were supposed to work.

Thank you for the submission!

You didn't lie: the epilepsy warning is totally... warranted. However, the rest of the game is a big pile of... lies :)  Graphics could improve for sure, but hey, we only had a week.

Keep it up, Enzo & Co!

Top notch execution, guys! Requires some serious mental effort to shuffle around the text and color in one's head and overcome the obstacles. Fits the theme perfectly :)

I'd agree that a tutorial level with lower speed would help.

Nice graphics. And tons of references to Brackeys, haha :)

Beautiful graphics, I especially dig the CRT effect (any Superhot fans around here? : ) )

My only gripe was with the colors: it wasn't immediately obvious what I needed to do (e.g. since two keys share the color green).

Good sound effects, and music, too!

Thanks, MironCo! Rating complete :)

I like the narration, it really fits the theme of the jam. The controls are a bit finicky though.

Keep it up, MironCo!

Hey Halberd, thanks for the rating. Your game also looks pretty cool with all the neon shots.

Interesting idea, liked the graphics too.

Game ran at low FPS on my PC @1440p, I had to lower the resolution.

Thanks, Jordan. Just posted my review of your - pretty crazy, I must say - game :)

I had more fun than I dare admit : D

Cute graphics, fun dialogue by the rabbit boss, and dynamic music make the simple gameplay stand out. Only thing I'd add would be some objective to motivate the player (think "Save the princess").

This game deserves more attention.

Hey LaudoStudio, thanks for the review.  I've just rated your game - liked it!

I had fun playing this game. The puzzles are innovative and require combinatory thinking.  The music and sound effects also add to the experience. I liked the prison setting, but the texture of the walls and floor seemed a bit too repetitive. Thanks, LaudoStudio, keep it up!

Nice! Let's talk

Can I use pics from Google Search? I'd put images like this McDonald's ad on in-game billboards (not to make a profit, but to make the game world interesting)

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's allowed to use pics from Google Search. I'd put images like this McDonald's ad on in-game billboards, as a satire of consumerism.

Thanks in advance!
