ma bad mate, just tryna spread some peace and love

yea, the limitation was kind of lame this year, I hope it doesn't effect my scor

thank you for letting me know. I was super rushed on the sound effects, I had a math exam the next morning and I didn't get around to the sound until like 10 pm but big thank you for playing my game

i cant believe you made a full fledged steam release in 2 weekends really well done. is there any chance i could get your opinion on my game jam submission

This is just the cutest simplest and most entertaining game submitted to the jam. This is the first game on this jam that I genuinely enjoyed playing. really well done congrats. some microscopic details no average player would see are, how it's a little hard to tell which tile a ball is over and also how full my cannon has to be before I can shoot. but I'm serious like I really had to search for those two critics. its really a wonderful game, well done. I would love to get your valuable opinion on my submission to the jam, if you could spare the moment.

Oh! and I forgot to say how adorable and envying to look at the art for this game is so pretty.

also the game play is just really creative, I could go on and on.

Can I just say how much I love the art for this game. seriously it makes a game so much more enjoyable to play when you love what your looking at. the axe collisions were a little frustrating but i really loved the thrill of bouncing around my little cubical slashing and dashing the bad guys. thank you for giving that to me. I too, summited to this game jam and would love to hear some of your advice on my submission.

first and foremost I really love the music and the plot / topic of extinction is super fun to play in. this could be my lack of video game instincts but right off the bat seeing the flashing wave timer ticking down and all of the UI had me a bit overwhelmed. eventually though I started to get the point. also I really love the fact that I can build ships wherever I like, coupled with the fact that the ships interact with one another, those two things really give the game a ton of personality and drive. definitely hard to put down. I also am attending this jam and if you could spare a moment, I would love to get your opinion on what I made.

feedback on improvements or general difficulties are much appreciated!

umm i don't under stand

different but better ;D

better than the real minecraft

I wish there was a mac build

1. it isn't intentional, i just had to make the graphics that way or else the game would just be a blue screen when loaded in itch.io

2. that doesn't really fit the aesthetic but i will put an outline of a square where the tile will be.

3. I totally agree with you, where the text is in my tutorial is kind of confusing.

4. I have heard that a lot but never heard to put them farther in the background, thank you i will definitely do that.

5. This past week has been very busy so i haven't gotten around to it but I definitely will when I have time.

6. I love that idea for the controls, its just that i have a mouse instead of a trackpad so what I did was most intuitive.

Thank you so much, this is my first puzzle game and I'm still new to game development so thanks for the feedback, very helpful.

(all I know is how to program which is why i went for the simplistic art style)

OMG thank you so much this is exactly the feedback I was looking for. SUPER helpful!

sorry i should have made it clear that your not supposed to press the buttons then your blocks get stuck. sorry!

EDIT: I changed it so the exit is blocked up when you hit the buttons, hopefully that makes it more clear.

I love this game (a bit too much pop but i really enjoy the play-through), it seems like you know exactly what you are doing, could I get some feedback on my entry.

I really loved the story of this one but for the platforming part it took me a while to understand what was bad, good, and where to go. I'd also love to know what you think of my entry?

good art but I was pretty confused most of the time. super fun.

I don't know how you managed to smash two game jam themes together but you did it and it was done beautifully. maybe in a different version an interactive tutorial because it was kind of hard for me to get what was happening with just a wall of text at my side. love the sound though, super funny. also could I get some feedback on my entry, I really want to learn how to be a better game developer like you.

I really like the idea of the game and the levels are super fun but one thing i found frustrating is how I don't really have time to learn the mechanics your just throwing me in there and I die before I even know whats going on. maybe you could put up a tiny window telling you the rules and movement then the player can click start on their own. But just an idea, if you like your game how it is now, you don't have to listen to me at all. Also the movement is pretty clunky. and great color choices by the way!

hey black thorn prod, i know your famous and busy and cool, and I'm nobody to you, but i was wondering if i could get some feedback for my entry if that's okay?

you seem like you have really good taste for games could you maybe try out my submission?

I really enjoyed playing this game

dude i am genuinely in love with this game great job.

me first seeing game "hey this looks easy" also me the entire time playing it "HOW AM I SO BAD AT THIS!!!". jokes aside it was a really great game.

i 1000% agree with what he said, and would also like it if you took a look at my entry if you don't mind?

this is the most creative and well produced interpretation of the game theme that i have seen today. id love to hear what you think of my entry.

hey this game is probably the best game made during the jam. i am extremely impressed on how you made such an elaborate,  well constructed, and fun game. I would love your feed back on my entry, i feel it would really help me become a better game designer overall.
