Thanks. The game uses blackjack card values, so jacks, queens, and kings have a value of 10. The combination for your hand would have been king + jack + 5.

Yeah, unfortunately the cards slowed down and a couple bugs appeared when the game was imported to itch.io and we didn't have time to fix them.

One thing I've learned from this game is that people are very ungrateful. There was only one person who was thankful to get a garbage can full of trash.

This is a brilliant game.  One thing you could add to make it better is dialogue from the criminal during the middle of the battle. Right now the intro at the beginning feels kinda useless because you don't continue the story.
