That is too bad! I am not sure what could be causing it. I just downloaded this same build and tested it again and I was able to move with WASD just fine. Thanks for trying :)
Wow... What a great entry! Amazing job! I love the art direction of the game. The moody music complements the dark color palette very well. And you even set up a custom page for the game that is so cute.
I wanted to play more but the screen kept exiting full screen on itch. Not sure if that is an issue on my end or how to fix it. I'd also like it a lot if the game paused while I opened the book so I could take my time reading what each thing does.
I love the idea of a side scroller bullet hell! And I found the art style so damn adorable. One thing I would change is make the screen a bit less zoomed in. It doesn't give much time to see the bullets as they come and make an escape plan. Unfortunately I was not able to defeat the wyvern. Great submission! Good work and congrats on finishing.
