I am quite lucky since most drivers are okay with Longhorn on my device... Running build 3718.

My plans changed alot. I actually  also installed build 5048. It was quite stable in comparison with 4051 which i installed earlier.

Thank you all!

Now i got the clue what to do!

Currently i am planning a Longhorn build 5048 installation to see could it work on that version properly.

If it doesnt load and says "Side by side configuration is incorrect"

Reinstall Novetus.

Any link? (or file)

Thanks!

CHANGE your clients.

For example a 2007 place named bla bla bla, needs 2007 client to work.

Ive also noticed this weird bug.

Since novetus is not on my main harddisk, it also gets that weird error

- Discontinued the Lite version.

    - My setup has been configured for the 2.0 release which is smaller. This means that I can no longer publish Lite versions.

You got it.

As ive looked through latest beta build, ive noticed than it had "4.5.1" folder which contains .NET 4.5.1,

But theres no .NET 2.0 or 4.0 setups anymore, is that the end for XP/2003?

(.NET 4.0 is the latest version supported by XP, while 4.5x is not supported anymore.)

Did you install all dependencies needed?

Check your side-by-side configuration or reinstall Novetus.

Check your VM settings.

As you know, Novetus requires a SP2/SP3 to work, if you try to install dependencies on SP1/RTM, it would not install because of dependencies.

Could Bitl make Novetus to work on RTM version of Windows XP/2003? (Or make it atleast work with older .NET versions like 1.1 and 2.0 WITHOUT any SP?)

No, from "Insert" function.

After reading a little of changelogs, in the latest snapshot ive noticed than you can convert your old client to new client format in SDK,

The original text: The client SDK has been unlocked to facilitate moving to the new Novetus 2.0 client format. It is generally not advised to host public servers at this time, but I'm not stopping you. If you have made ANY clients, export them to txt, ini, or json formats. Future you will thank you.

Its down.

If you have already a working client, move the client into "client" folder, it should appear if you do it right.

You need to download a new version of Novetus.

If you have some places/models etc, save them into a folder.

Ive noticed this bug waaay back 2023, In basics, when i tried to insert a model in 2007/2008 clients, they would not appear or load into a game.

Any fix?

It should be fixed. That bug appeared on 2008M, itself you can launch a game but it wont load afterall, it would get stuck at loading map.

(I was using OpenGL Experimental, Windows XP SP3)
