Very good game, I really enjoyed the story and how you used the theme, that was well thought. And the ambiance is great, very nice job!

The only thing that kind of bothered me was that it was a bit too dark I couldn't see anything without using the pause sreen to lighten it up, idk if it's because of my monitor though.

Yeah the jump needs some fixing, many people complained about how hard the river part is, haha. I will definitely check it out and come up with a way that would make it feel better and more predictacle. Thanks again^^

Currently there's no real ending apart from the game congratulating you for beating it, I didn't have enough time to make a proper ending unfortunately. And yeah I should have tweaked the sounds to make them better, will definitely fix it after the jam ends, and add new sounds for car engine, footsteps, etc.

Graphics and musics got me hooked right away, I felt like playing some great megadrive game, I love the vibe. Too bad the gameplay couldn't be implemented. Will you be continuing the development of this game?

I loved the sounds and the musics, and the UI style is very appealing, great job! The ghosts were quite too easy to kill though x)

Thanks :D Yeah I planned on adding more sounds like horns and vehicles engines, and footsteps on grass and asphalt, but I had no more time left so I just left it as is. Will definitely add a lot more polish after the voting phase ends though :) Haha yeah you're not allowed to go too far away cause you might see the void xD

Good game! I really love the graphics and the seppuku was well thought :D The only thing that made me enjoy it less was my very low fps, but I guess that's because of my potato pc. Overall great job!

Thanks for trying it out and for the feedbacks :) I myself haven't beaten it yet either, I kinda suck at it, haha. Yes I decreased mid-air speed on purpose, because the player could just jump over the rivers in one sprint jump if not. It's a way of somehow forcing the player to jump over the logs in order to cross the river. But yeah maybe the decrease is a little bit too much, I'll check on it. Thanks again :)

The art style is simple but beautiful, and the game is fun and relaxing to play. I think it would be better if we could also move on the x axis, because sometimes I feel like the obstacles are just unavoidable, unless it is done on purpose for the "Death is only the beginning" perhaps?

Sometimes when I die (by pressing enter or falling into spikes), I get the dying animation, but then instead of getting respawned to the last checkpoint I get somehow respawned right where I died, and the grey buddy just disappears.

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it :) We are aware of the sound problems, and we will work on fixing it after the voting phase ends. We also thought of a checkpoint reload after the endings, but we didn't have enough time left to make it work correctly, so instead of putting an incomplete feature, we decided to report if for after the jam. We hope you enjoyed playing the game regardless
