I fired up your game not knowing what to expect after i saw the splash art. then i got the little introduction about this guy who's a little overweight and getting bullied deciding to stand up against his foe and the art style threw me right into a space which reminded my kinda of Crayon Shin-Chan. It is awesome how much love was put into the little images. Only Problem for me was that you had to restart your progress (on a gameplay side) after every arc. This was probably to fit into the theme but it made it alittle bit tedious even though it still goes well with the narrative of the game, since in life also you often have to repeat tasks often and redo them to grow and get better at stuff.

I didn't finish the game yet since your task gameplay wise was the same in each arc and it took away some fun but nontheless a great game and i will finish it another time.

It does  have  Shin-Chan vibes! You're right it does deflate the game a bit, I did mean to make the second and third stage go by much faster but ran out of time before submission. Will definitely tweak that when I go back to work on it!

Initial concept was nostalgic but starting all over from scratch each time was a tiny bit annoying. I got bored and started falling asleep but then quickly advanced to the last boss so i guess it worked out. The tie to the theme made some sense but again this kind of redo is tedious lol. Anyway pretty good.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah the second and third stage can be bit a drag, I did intend to have them allow you to gather the points faster but ran out of time, will defiantly be a thing that I fix  for it's completion.

I thought the game would be over after the first set, but all stories need a tournament arc at some point or another.

Good game, the eventual automation of *almost* everything was a mercy upon my hand; though the early game(s) still sets my wrist on fire. When playing this I immediately thought of things like Adventure Capitalist which is a good thing because id say that game/those game(s) are the gold standard for games similar to this one. While this game isnt quite to *that* degree as far as function goes, I felt there was a similarity. I think you have a good game here and the touch of story was funny.

Also please give us a way to automate the last one; even if it costs like 1,000 of the first one (the white one) per tier I would do it in a heartbeat.

I had to stop playing once it hit dragonball levels of poke-buddy evolution though, wrist hurts.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback really appreciate it! Will definitely implement something to automate that last one and I'll balance the entry game costs so it doesn't break people wrists.
