Thank you for the honest feedback! :) I completely agree with everything you stated.

Thank you for the honest feedback, kiko! :) I completely agree with everything you stated.

I am really impressed by what you created here. The artstyle, the music, song mapping, the feedback, vfx, everything works together perfectly and is yet so simple! Brilliant. It creates a really satisfying experience. Most significantly the well-placed sounds of the song that serve as additional hit feedback.

I also like how you start simple and then, much later, introduce the twist in the mechanic with the triangles where you have to actually press the opposite direction of the incoming note. Great pacing.

That is a wildly ambitious concept for a jam! :D Congrats for actually delivering something working here! I'm impressed.

I couldn't test the multiplayer aspect of the game but as a singleplayer it is brutally hard and after multiple attempts I was only able to land a single hit on an enemy before I died miserably. xD

Would love to see this concept improved upon though. Think it has potential to be a super fun experience when played with friends. :)

I think you performed really well with this one! The artstyle is clean and everything works together well. The  songs have character and the mapping is great. Actually enjoyed playing it. :)

The graphics are great and I also like the story and concept. Once I got the hang of it and got into the groove, I also enjoyed your beat mapping, especially how you included the right hand. Well done! :)

I believe the brutal difficulty, the others mention as well, stems from a weird perspective visual problem. Maybe the scaling of the notes over time that stops right before the hit zone? I don't know. I can't quite put my finger on it. But it leads to you expecting the note to hit the bar earlier than it actually does. If you play to the beat and don't pay attention to the visuals, the notes are on beat quite well.

Now that game was definitely something different! :D

It is a wildly creative idea and creates a very unique, psychedelic atmosphere. Well done, that's definitely some piece of art and personal expression!

Personally, I didn't had the patience to really dive into it and understand the patterns the game is asking me for. Even the textual hints didn't do the trick for me since the direct feedback was missing if my actual inputs were correct or not.

P.S.: Thanks for being so proactive and writing very constructive feedback on everyone's projects, Arnold! <3

Hey Jupi, thanks for doing this video format! It's really nice to see someone playing their own creation. :))

Thanks for playing and the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Really good job on this one! It is actually fun to play (which I still honestly find difficult to achieve in a game jam game)! The art is adorable with perfectly matching UI and VFX. I also like the spin you tried on ADOFAI. We were actually in a similar position where we thought about having a kind of planning phase to plot your moves in advance. :)

The input method of plotting your path is very clean visually yet confusing to me personally. I find it hard to map the beats to left and right turns in the actual level and find myself just trying it out until I get the direction I want. I also feel like movements on the beat feel really well but I can't seem to grasp the offbeat movements. Maybe it's a personal thing or maybe something that can be improved upon in the composition of the song? I don't know really, but anyways. That's critique on a high level, so again: Well done, very nice game! :)

I really like the idea and the mouse is super cute and definitely the star of the show! :)

As already stated: If you wanna make it an actual rhythm game, you could prohibit left/right movement. I do think the obstacles are actually spawning on the beat, right?

The difficulty is pretty brutal, mostly due to the very sensitive controls. With just some tuning to values like the movement speed on input, jump height and fall velocity, I think the game would be a really nice play!

The game has a dope soundtrack and the breakout mechanic is obviously fun.

I like how you are adding another layer to the gameplay with a bullet-hell and how the game keeps defying expectations multiple times. Nicely done!

I have to admit though that I wasn't able to really play / enjoy any level because they are all brutally hard! D:

I think with some tweaking to the difficulty it could actually be a pretty good play. :)

Exactly what I aimed for. Glad to hear it delivered on that vibe! :)

Thanks for the feedback and also mentioning Poki. *thumbs up*

Thank you for playing and the kind words! :)

Glad to hear it worked well and thanks for the feedback! Pacing will definitely be a topic for the future, originally planned in form of different playable animals but who knows. :D

Definitely agree! Thanks for playing and the feedback :)

Thanks for the feedback autumn! I've noted the problem for future updates. :)

Looks like a combination of Lovers In A Dangerous Space Time and FTL. Love the concept!

That's a great game jam prototype. The core game loop is obviously pretty limited at this stage but the mechanics are clear and work well. And the visuals, animations and effects all support it very well! Well done! :)

Hey DancingImp, thanks for playing and the feedback! I get what you're saying and I agree. Reducing the prep time for a jump would be a good next step to polish the mechanic further!

Hey swoopie, thank you for the feedback! Glad you liked it as a minigame. :) I'll check back on that collider as well.

\o/ Thank you for taking the time and glad you enjoyed it. :)

Hey mate, glad you had fun with the minigame and thank you so much for your in-depth feedback! :)

Your highscore is impressive! And I agree to almost everything you mentioned balance-wise. Nice summary.

Thanks also for putting my attention on the bug regarding follow-up sessions. I have a hunch what I forgot there and will check that.
