that means the world to me, thank you so much for your sweet comment!

i checked that someone asked the same question on another one of this person's listings, and yeah. according to them, they generate it in MidJourney

wow. just. wow. there are a lot of ways that people can feel satisfaction from playing a game, with one of those being simply having the ability to feel cool. your game totally nails it! presentation-wise, it's exceptional and it's very easy to be able to run, move, and hop around like you're some kind of expert ninja. very, VERY satisfying to traverse through and look at. i also love how much you committed to the wonderland theme, it gives the game its own unique tone.

unfortunately i could not get past level 2 as i'm not a particularly skilled gamer nor shot - perhaps it's just due to my own abilities, but i think i would've been able to continue the game further if the progress bar carried over or if checkpoints were possible!

all in all i'm super impressed. i was actually surprised to see this was made in Godot, since i figure a game like this could much easily be made in UE or unity, but i think this shows you've made great use of the program with just a few months of experience. i would love to see more of this game for sure, you did a fantastic job!

thank you~!

thank you kindly! i'll take note of that and make sure to decrease the volume of the dialogue SFX in another update 😁

you're too kind, thank you so much!!

thank you, the concrit you shared especially has been on my mind! i made the screen resolution smaller than i wanted to originally since i wanted it to fit easily for itch's preferred browser resolution, but i agree that giving it more space to view the visuals and text would help so much. level design and gameplay mechanics are definitely something i have much to work on as someone who comes from an art background and i hope to make it so much better in the future. thank you again for stopping by with your thoughts, they are very appreciated ❤

thank you for playing and for your kind words!

i sincerely appreciate it, especially hearing it from someone with a lot more experience!

very meaningful words coming from you, thank you! ❤

thank you very much for playing and for your kind words, and i'm happy that the script was easy enough to understand!

i am glad the storytelling helped make an impression! i was originally planning on making this solely an anthology, but some people agree it would be interesting to have the spirits have some intertwining stories with each other, so thank you. and thank you for hosting the jam!

for just 5 days, this is pretty impressive! would love to see it expand into more stages :D

as just a heads up: my partner and i had trouble loading the game on firefox, but worked just fine on edge 👍

i seriously enjoyed the HECK outta this game! putting a bit of music in would be a nice way to give it a final touch, but overall it was a well-balanced package with a simple yet effective gameplay loop. excellent work!

with just a little more polish for things like audio, i could easily see this being a game worth a buy! i had a lot of fun strategizing as a lich and sending my minions out in different ways, and i'm really happy with the balanced gameplay. very well done, one of my favorites for the jam!

very simple but still quite a fun game! i personally love mindless clickers, so especially with your current experience, it turned out to be a good result!

for a first experience, i think the twists you made for platforming gameplay were very clever!

it was a little unclear for me to tell which of the tiles exactly were breakable aside from guessing, but aside from that you've got some great graphics and a really good game concept! would be neat to see more of it :D

wow wow wow, i'm simply amazed that you were able to get an RPG of this quality out in such a short time!

i think i might've gotten stuck 😭 can't seem to find any way to progress once i've exorcised six of the spirits, i believe to be missing sloth

regardless of that, i'm intensely blown away by what you were able to make, from the polished sprites, to the great dialogue, to the story writing. i think this just might be my favorite for the whole entire jam. i rate this game 12/10 bodybuilding women 🙏

very solid game! love the art style and gameplay is pretty well-balanced :D

it's a bit too outta my skill level, but this is a pretty solidly well-put together game with a strong sense of style! if i make an accessibility suggestion, it would be to either adjust the size of the CRT effect bars, or to make them not appear over the text in order to make it more readable 🙏

very well put-together game! had fantastic presentation and the scoreboard feature i think is quite sweet :D

a brilliant take on a simple yet effective gameplay concept that totally nails the theme! the blob is also super cute :D (even if it's bleeding profusely)

i think just the addition of a music track would make this game beyond excellent - fantastic work!

wonderful use of the limited color palette, very easy to understand and a neat (albeit grim) take on a runner - nice job! i'm so impressed you got it done so quickly :D

man, talk about the story of my life! i always feel touched to see fiction about disability and whatnot. thank you for making this cute little thing!

short but sweet, thank you for making this!

very cute idea and love the overall aesthetic of the artwork, i hope someday you might work on a full version!
