Very goofy big head turret. I think it could be cool if there was something else out there to get you.

Feels very polished aside from the dudes sometimes teleporting somewhere random. Short and cool!

I loved it! The art is awesome, the music is great and the gameplay is a simple yet challenging and the story is phenomenal. Amazing job!

I really like it. It's not really a replayable game but a fun, 5 minute thing for sure!

I liked how the AD upgraded overtime and was able to ignore obstacles.

I really enjoyed the gameplay. Wish it had some music though. I loved how the menu and the credits also had ads, especially the credits!

Well I mostly just used the enemy animations as the beat and didn't really need the music. That being said I quit on the 3rd level(I will come back).

Yeah I can see the delays getting annoying after a while. Ty for playing!

Thanks for the review! Sounds like I was able to make what I was trying to.

It is cool and has a nice story. Only problem is that the shooting sound effect gets super annoying. You should make it a random pitch each time you play it

Feels really polished. Great music, art and gameplay. Only thing that is lacking is the theme. It feels thrown in without much effect on the gameplay.

(1 edit)

I have to say playing this one with myself is very hard but I like the game. If I had someone to play with I could give a more objective rating but oh well. I also found the sound very annoying.

I really liked it! I love how the ads are upgrades and not just an annoyance. Could have had a background to make it look less like a demo build though. If the jam was longer I could totally see more upgrades and zombies.

Cool!

Nice little game. The music is very short but I liked it. I also like that you move with the mouse. Art was awesome.

Controls are super clunky and take some time getting used to. Music was nice and I liked that the levels were all themed around an ad. Sadly only the nike level worked as I was not able to play the other ones even after "unlocking" them. Nice little arcade game!

Would have loved to see the turret actually shoot me and not just have text when I failed. Very interesting and unlike anything else that I have seen in this jam. Also I think you should lose if you go below - 10 otherwise it is hard to lose. Overall I really like it!

Nice game! Feels like youtube rn. If only it had some music.

I love the music! Gameplay is fun and simple. Great game overall

I love how the ads get on your screen if they touch you. Sadly there isn't a lose condition and so there is no gameplay loop. Also I think you totally should have tried to draw your own ads and turret. Learning new things even if you don't succeed is what game jams are all about!

The gameplay is good and so is the music. I think both the theme and special object implementation is lacking. The turret is just an enemy and the ads could easily be replaced by something else so they are not very meaningful. I did like that the ads were implemented in the story however.

I never thought of it that way but yeah it is kind of like wario ware. Thnx for playing :D

Im glad you liked it! Originally I was going to add more common mobile game ads but I realised that I didn't have much time so I threw in that gambling thing to perhaps represent some casino ad or something.

I liked the art style! I felt like the character abilities were unnecessary as the levels I enjoyed most were the ones where no abilities were required. The cameras were too weak and most of the time you could just ignore them. The idea is neat but I think it lacks in level design and gameplay.
