For me it doesn't take that long. However, I sometimes have other games taking a while to start up. Some days it would take minutes, other days it would be less than a minute. I don't think it is a game related issue.

alright, tried starting my game up agian, and it worked. Thank you. I also would like to say that i really enjoy this game. Keep up the good work!

I am not able to open the game, I get the following error:
