I am not able to open the game, I get the following error:

If it is possible to tell me if this is an error on my end or if it is a bug, i would greatly appreciate it.

please update and try again!
Also please tell me if your saves are working properly, I messed something up with the initial folder structure.
Worst case you could backup saves, delete the game and redownload!

alright, tried starting my game up agian, and it worked. Thank you. I also would like to say that i really enjoy this game. Keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot! Another question: Does starting the game with the itch app take unusually long? For me it takes over a minute... (Unfortunately I don't have a second computer ...)

For me it doesn't take that long. However, I sometimes have other games taking a while to start up. Some days it would take minutes, other days it would be less than a minute. I don't think it is a game related issue.

Ps: right clicking the start button, going to the folder and starting the eye from there is instant :)
