I had this issue on only the east asia map. is that the one you're playing on?

On a save I loaded, i can't select any nations. I press 'select nation' and nothing happens. right clicking also doesn't work. this save is from the most recent version, and it worked fine yesterday. I loaded up a new game an could select just fine, though. Also if i load saves of other maps besides the carribbean it still works and if i load a new carribean map it works and if i save that and load it it still works

Mine would also not save on east asia, although the save also had over 1500 turns

I think this could be solved with a sort of ‘sandbox mode’ that allows you to create nations exactly as you imagined. Because I think some of the fun of the game is that sometimes your favorite nations get absolutely walloped and then you get to rebuild them

I agree this would be a cool feature
