Arrow keys do not work in Win 10 on Edge (I run an adblocker "uBlock Origin")

So... the final boss level will be to hold a speech before a mass of people? Standing on that glass table?

Thanx. But it seems I found a way to play Playdate games. Just install the playdate SDK - it includes an Emulator! I´ll try that first :)

I doubt it, but still looks fancy.

Ah. Damned. I do not own a Playdate and am not planning to buy one.

Is there a way to refund - or are you maybe plannign a Win 10 version?

Also, I think it would be apropiate to make a clearer descripton that this not a Windows-game.

No GeForce / Radeon-needed? Does this run on an integrated intel grafix-chipset from a notebook?

The background is fixed, Ok. But the characters look 3D-animated hence the question.

Looks really breathtakingly good...

This looks incredible!

What are the minimal technical specs for running this?

! It´s full of stars!

damned. my gamepad doesnt work here ... hmm

Fantastic! This little pearl of a game reminded me in many aspects of the vibe when playing adventure on my atari vcs 2600. It could be made for the 2600er...

I escaped throught the east passage of the hidden court yard. Is there another way?

Argh. Ok, got the combination, but how do I ENTER it? RETURN or gamepad-keys do not work!

HELP! I am trapped in a spooky house!!

I´d pay a bit for a gamepad-control :)

Great polish on this game!

Now it works (In the online-version here under "run game")

But I stopped playing, since I was only testing, so I returned to the comment-section (which did not pause the game) and now the soundtrack doesnt stop :/

Constructive critic:
One thing that I always find annonying (I am a music producer and sounddesigner) in similar game concepts but also in point and click-adventures: Once you have music playing in a scene, it is quite shocking if the music stops abrupt if I enter another scene. The music of scene1 schould shortly fade out, while the new scene2 is building up / appearing. A crossfade is maybe non-trivial to produce, but a simple fade-out of 2-3 seconds should be possible and if you combine that with a delay of 1 second before oyu place the music-start at the following scene, you should automatically have a smooth crossfade...

Something like in Shards Of God, which is a point´n´click, but features scene-swapping as well ...

I played through it. A masterpiece indeed. Someone buy the script and make this a movie, please! :D It was simply the best game I have played for   some time now ... Nothing less. <3 P.S.: It´s not short,  it plays for 2 hours of high quality  enjoyment and that is more than what I get from most cinematic-moments. Also it is the best whodunnit in my humble opinion ever conceived. Can I throw money at you guys?

EDIT:
I remember back then 1993 having played through BENEATH A STEEL  SKY and it had the absolute same length. I have no clue how you perceive this game as "short",    It´s not! /.-)

Thanx for the quick answer! :D

And: I seem to have  completely lost my track here.... But I really have no idea how I *SPOLIER* should be able to leave the library (resets the levers) to get a small crowd of characters   involved with my brandnew lever-pulling-hobby... Alas!*SPOILER*

E v e r y t h i n g is gorgeously and perfectly crafted. What a gem of a game!

BUT: Please reconsider the annoying library-thing. If you can´t solve it with deductive skills, then WHAt is ist? A dice trapped in a slow-motion-esque universe?

I am the most patient person from here (where I stand) to Wyoming - and beyond. But, I could not get through the annoying library-"puzzle". Is this an extended red hering-joke?

Otherwise, I think your game is sooo beautiful, I would like to   include you in my heritage. <3

I did not hear any athmospheric background soundtrack / athmo. Is there any? If not, it is missing.

I am planning to buy a faster Graphic-card this year, but am stucked for now with my Geforce 750Ti (2GB). Would I be able to play the NON-VR-version?

And what are the current minimal technical requirements for the non-VR-version?

Thanx in advacne for any info!

Fantastic!

But don´t expect I am going to that execution!

!!! <3

Fantastic work! /.-)

But the hysterically silent passenger is equally creepy. Maybe you should go fishing cool fish.. :D

This will be a great game! Already is highly entertaining!

The main character#s animation could be a little bit sleazyer for my taste... But I will buy this once its ready! Good suspense, original controls!

Oh! How very interesting! I will give this a shot tonight...

I only know the Arcade-version of Bagman, which I really loved - but could only play once until they took away the machine ... Later I played it on MAME again. So this port is highly welcome! Great work again!

I completely understand! Also, I was refering to the Atari 800 XL-version (which is the one I have been playing for ages).

Btw: Hero Is Back 2 is fantastic!!!

Wow. Just Wow. Very dynamic and cool!

I have walked, I have feared, I have wished, I have fevered, I had my wins - and lost another one - I have walked, I run, I weeped, I sweared ... is there anybody in here?

Fantastic! Very nice ideas!

If ARCHON is Alpha, this is it`s OMEGA and CHESS is the middle ;)

Good work!

How f****** gorgeous of you! This is some lovely work. Thanx galore. It made my day! /.-) - And there are NEW labyrinthic levels!!

Small critics: The bomb appears a tad too quickly when one moves the gamepad downwards. The original was intentively delayed a bit. On the sounddesign-things of life I'd rather pitch the rotor-sound a tad down and make it less loud - but the explosion much higher in volume. You can basically swith their loudness-values ...

Cheers! I'm curious about this little game but unfortunately the download is not starting even with payment ... There is nothing to chose in the installer-section. One can pay, but ldownload-inks are not starting. Any idea what to do?
I am located in Cologne, Germany but never had issues like this.

EDIT: I used the download-link that came with the PayPal-bill and that one worked!
Game runs smoothly even on my Thinkpad X230t with a mediocre graphix-card. The only bug I could find is that the foot-sounds started looping while I still had not moved ... It stopped sound erratic after a minute or so ...

Excellent!

Supercool! /.-)

... finally an answer to all my questions... But one question remains: Did we create the Subnet after it created us? (I am not spoiling!)

Hopworld community · Created a new topic The music...

Thanx for this promising little pearl of procederal endlessness.. BUT: May you please reconsider the music? It´s just to "dosy" for a platformer... Or does it get different later on? It´s a kind of gamestopper (sic!) for me.

No game ever has made me laugh out that hard just by letting me out of the start screen... <3!!!

Thank you for doing this! Its really, really good... It should be in everyone's remedy box! /.-)

Cool! I could totally identify, I have the exact same haircut! /.-)

Really cool! I love the smooth controls... Keep up the great worl! I'm surely coming back...

Fantastic! /.-) Thanx for developing this little masterpiece!
