Great job. The word building, the script and the dialogues are fantastic. And the art is gorgeus.

I played through it. A masterpiece indeed. Someone buy the script and make this a movie, please! :D It was simply the best game I have played for   some time now ... Nothing less. <3 P.S.: It´s not short,  it plays for 2 hours of high quality  enjoyment and that is more than what I get from most cinematic-moments. Also it is the best whodunnit in my humble opinion ever conceived. Can I throw money at you guys?

EDIT:
I remember back then 1993 having played through BENEATH A STEEL  SKY and it had the absolute same length. I have no clue how you perceive this game as "short",    It´s not! /.-)

Great Art! I love intro and atmosphere. Well done!

This art is sincerely impressive, reminiscent of the discworld series and golden-era dos games. Each background has its own unique characteristics but they all feel very cohesive. The music that is present is terrific and well suited to the atmosphere, though the dialogs missing a background track do feel fairly empty from the lack of music outside of the atmospheric audio. Such an intriguing story and world you've created here and I'd be very interested to see where this story could go. Congrats on making something so impressive and getting featured!

this is INCREDIBLE !!!! I love it, to the plot, the art, the world building , the way characters mouths open and OMG the dialogues, these are soo good it totally catch the vibe of lucas art games goofy dialogues and the whole game  transpire authenticity of old point and click. I'm looking a lot forward to the full realease !! much love <3 <3

I loved the worldbuilding and the demo is really promising, I will definitely come back to play the full version! Kudos <3

I was looking forward to play this, such a pity it's unfinished but this is definitely a big project which deserves a lot of breath! I will definitely play a final version of the game. The style is breath taking and the mood sparkles the reminiscence of Dune and Stargate and Far away galaxies ... So good.

You and your crew have crafted a beautiful world. The music, the sounds, the art, the dialogue, everything draws me in so deep and makes me want to know more about what will happen. I played the Witch's Lullaby last year and enjoyed it, but the writing here is painting such a huge portrait and I want to know where it goes so badly. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Developer

Thank you! Doing my best to finish it as soon as possible, so let's hope you won't have to wait for long :).

Your games are always so beautiful.  The Witches Lullaby was one of my favorites last year and this art is even more beautiful.  Are you going to keep working on this one?

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Never stopped working on it since the jam ended, I'm hoping to finish relatively soon... by the end of the voting period at the latest,  but hopefully faster.

This left me HYPED! Love the world and characters to bits already, can't want to spend more time with them! Such a great setup for an adventure game, fascinating world, investigative gameplay, got it all. Your artwork is so creative, beautiful set pieces, nice parallax. Music and audio ramps up the atmosphere, plot is intriguing and writing is spot on, with some nice dry wit.  It's really next level, not surprised it didn't quite make it for the jam.

Developer(+1)

Oh man, you have a way with compliments! Thank you, this made my day.

This looks SO good!

Even though it's a shortish demo, the worldbuilding is really intriguing. I immediately feel wrapped up in the mystery. The graphics are just gourgeous, the music is great and the writing is first class. Can't wait for the full game :)

Oh, and the looming deadline hanging over the heads of the secret passage makers is somehow relateable ...

Developer

Thank you! Both from me and the secret passage makers :).

Incredible work, your art is unique and gorgeous.  Your writing is excellent too.

For a demo I was expected less content than that, impressive work. One of the gems of this jam.

Thank you very much!

Your games were always gorgeous, but this one is drop-dead-beautiful! I'm simply in awe. (No idea why you ran out of time... ;-) )
The story is intriguing, the writing is witty and the music beautiful and fitting. Gimme more!  There were no actual puzzles, but knowing your previous games I'm in no doubt that there are several planned for the RELEASE of the FULL version, when you are ...FINISHED and had a good talk with the secret passage designers.  (you had me grinning broadly even when I was sad it was over ^^)

Developer

Hehe, yeah, the jokes about being unfinished is the only silver lining I was able to squeeze out of it when I realized this is not really going to be much of a game for the jam ;). Thanks for the nice feedback!

Really enjoyed this game. Fantastic graphics and music but I also really enjoyed the storyline and the detective work required. Great job!

Developer

Thank you very much!

You know what I love about your games - apart from the stunning backgrounds, of course?

The way you can mix serious settings and humor. Your games are always SO enjoyable to play because the writing is so good.

Developer

Thanks Guga! At this point getting good feedback on writing is more important to me than the technical/visual aspects, so this made me happy :).

The graphics were really good, as well as the music, congratulations !

Developer

Thank you!

Really impressed - everything's top-notch - it's really a shame there's just a fraction of the game because it's *excellent* and with what it seems to be a really epic plot.

Useless to say that also the music compartment is superb :-)

Thank you Marco!

Wonderful world design, love the detective dynamic.  Music is great and sound effects are clean and nicely placed.  Great Demo and I'm looking forward to continuing my investigation.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the detective aspect! It's very Agatha Christie in a way, hope the "genius-detective-reveals-everything" thing works out the way I'd like it to.

You've created an intriguing world that feels like it existed even before I as a player started playing. That's not easy to accomplish in such a short time so well done! The art is absolutely gorgeous and the characters were also good. The music fit the theme well. There weren't any puzzles as such but I'm looking forward to playing them once you finish the game. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! Finished version hopefully coming soon :).
