I recently played this on a 6 hour long drive, and strongly recommend it for car/train/plane/boat play. We modified it a bit, where I was rolling the dice and asking the prompting questions and the other person was answering them so as to make it more interactive (and possible, given they were driving), and it was a lot of fun! We did two rounds, each one taking about 45 minutes, and it was a relaxed way to flex some creative muscles and tell a story about characters that may or may not come back in future.
When it was my turn, I decided to use a character I've just started playing in a new campaign and it gave me the perfect opportunity to flesh her backstory out even more, and made her feel even more rich and real as a result.
Having a journaling game that doesn't also require playing/tarot cards was a nice treat, and I'm now on the lookout for more games like this that require minimal supplies to play.
