Oh so you're using controller, okay we haven't fully developed the controller functions I can see now where the issues are coming from. We'll do our best to fix them in the future!

Hello there!

We're so sorry to hear you're experiencing such difficulty issues! Like we mentioned in the previous discussion there's not meant to be an ''Options Menu'' yet. As for the controls & UI problems - could you record what's going on with them so we could eventually fix the issue, thank you.

Hello!

Thank you for your feedback we really do appreciate it! As for the options menu unfortunately we still haven't developed it yet. So it's not available. This issue of yours is perhaps due to the low RAM of your laptop like you mentioned :/

Hey there!

Either you're not using the controls the right way or there's a problem/limit with your keyboard keys. We've tested it hundreds of times & I can assure you there's nothing wrong with the physics :)

Hello there!

Try restarting it without touching your mouse this time. Use the arrow keys only.

Action-adventure side-scroller in which the player faces threatening enemies and solves challenging physics-based puzzles by smart usage of mystical Celtic magic and momentum-based mechanics. The game is inspired by Norse mythology and follows the adventures of the demigod Angus, who must go through dangerous obstacles and adventures in order to win the hand of his beloved goddess Kaer.

Hello!

Love to hear someone enjoying  playing the demo! I'll try my best improving it in the future & if I save enough money and time as well!

Have a wonderful day!

Hello there!

Wow dude! Thank you so much for testing my game out! I'm really glad you liked it, sadly you missed one more jump-scare which I would say is the efficient but hey you had fun so that's the most important thing here! I hope one day I'll be able to extend this Game Demo to unimaginable limits! Dream big they say huh? :)  I'll make sure to give your video a thumbs up most definitely! Keep up the good content on your channel & once again thank you for playing!

Hello!

Wow, I'm speechless. Thank you so much for the long feedback it really help's me improve the demo a lot! Much obliged!

Have a nice one!

Hello!

Oh that's pretty odd! You're actually the second person who has that kind of issues which is really weird. Thank you so much for the words and about the crosshair - there's actually a crosshair in the game I created, I just didn't like the fact that there is a white dot in the middle of the screen & it kinda messes up the view. I initially wanted the players to be able to enjoy the environment art without nothing in front of them. That's why I removed the entire character geometry along with the flashlight mesh. Great video you got there! Keep it up!

Have a beautiful day!

Hi!

Thank you for the kind words! I'm trying to stay creative as much as I can! The whole theme was meant to be creepy & atmospheric from the very beginning! I'm glad you find those qualities too! I should admit I'm loving the channel man, gonna give it a thumbs up & a sub!

Have a nice day!

Hey!

Absolutely! James Arkwright did an awesome job with the modelling!

Hi!

Wow that is one of a feedback! Thank you so much for the effort! I find it very helpful towards the demo's improvement! I'll highly consider on fixing those issues although some of them were meant to be that way but hey I'm not the one playing the game, in this case you people are! I had like huge plans about some gameplay stuff but sadly I'm not that good as a programmer so it get's pretty limited at a certain point. Once again your feedback is well-appreciated!

Wishing you a wonderful day!

Hey there!

No, thank you! Loved your reactions as well as the commentary! The mask suits the theme real good! Good job with the channel, I think you'll reach high one day!

Hey!

It indeed is! I'll inform you if any updates are coming out soon!

Oh and I just subscribed btw!

Have a nice day!

Hi!

Means the world to me! It's always fun watching you guys play my game!

Hey!

This means so much to me! Thank you! I'm really digging your channel!

Hello!

I appreciate the feedback! The notes were meant to be listened till the end so audio won't get messed up with each other. Cool video by the way! Love it!

What's going on!

Thank you so much! Oh and I must say those aren't issues as far as I'm concerned. I've tested anything out, it's just sometimes Unreal Engine 4.26 likes to play games since it's a brand new version (unstable with a lot of bugs) so if you're having trouble with anything try to restart the game. As for the cursed cube you have to actually point your center straight into it, imagine you have a crosshair and try pointing it at the cube or try to get close enough in order to work. And for the record I just updated the project with faster walking speed.

Have a beautiful day!

Hello there!

Much obligated for the feedback! Awesome video you got there too! I suggest you may want to check it out again, I made a couple improvements like making the character walk speed a bit faster, fixing the ''Back'' button from the Options Menu when clicked, added barricades in the corridor so the player won't get confused and still try to pass through and a couple other details.

Have a good one!

Hey!

I'm really happy seeing people playing my game! But I just can't over with the YouTube videos! It's making me very pleased!

Wishing you a good day sir!

How's it going!

I enjoyed watching your YouTube video! It's almost like you speed-ran it lol! But hey any feedback & criticism is always well welcomed, so don't hesitate do write a review!

Have a good day!

What's up!

Oh wow, I find your video very entertaining! I'm flattered you actually like it! I'm working on some improvements that might please the audience more! Once again thank you for the kind review & have a blessed day!

Hey!

I'm glad you like the level art & graphics overall! I'm working on fixing the problem with the stairs! I'm also working on other multiple things so it'll probably take some time. Anyway thank you so much for the feedback!

Have a great day!

Hello!

Feedback is always welcomed! I truly appreciate your thoughts on this demo! I'll make the character walk movement a bit faster so the players won't get annoyed pretty fast! I believe you'll notice a change after all, I'll announce the update here in the comments section.

Have a nice one!

Hey!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I personally thought maybe the slower walking style would fit the small level, let's say if I had made the character walking speed faster the player could beat the entire demo game in less than 7 minutes and I would personally not prefer that. I created this to originally show off / display the atmospheric & sharp graphics so the player could take his time to walk around and take a close look at everything. But like I said this is my personal thoughts about the character walking speed. Here, it is all about what you guys think so I'll rigorously consider on improving the issue according to your kind feedback!

Have a great day!

Of course! That would help a lot!

Hi there!

Firstly I just wanna mention I sincerely appreciate your feedback & I'll be working on improving these issues! I'm actually shocked you made a whole video about my Demo Game which I'm greatly honoured for! I had a friend help me out with the story script his name is Allan Parker and he's great at this! - https://brokemypencil.ca ; And as for the voice-acting part I used Voice AI Generator by - https://replicastudios.com/.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

"Shadow Plays" is a First-Person Indie Horror Demo Game which places the players into the shoes of an arriving member of the Priory called Ordo Mortuus Vita. The Priory promises to heal wounds of the mind, and to revitalize the pains of the body. A specialized researcher in esoteric sciences has taken residency with full support from the Priory. His research hopes to further deepen the knowledge at what may lie beyond after death. His hopes are to make contact with the beyond, and see what secrets it is willing to reveal. Though not everything is as it seems, an investigation was prompted after an increase of missing people were being reported around the area, and coincidently a number of new faces have appeared at The Priory.
