Played the game again! Big improvement from the jam, got a proprer idea of the game now! Usually not a fan of fetch quests cuz a lot of games recently make it really boring but it was quite fun somehow in this one. Great job!

There's a fun idea to explore here, as other people have said its really hard to have a sense of direction here, maybe some simple art for the background like planets and stuff so you can tell how much your turning and all.
Also not sure how you wanted progression to work but I thought my ship's upgrades would stay after the next mission but it doesnt XD.
Also a little exploit where i immediately complete the objective and instead of hitting the return to base button i just keep playing and get cargo before my fuel ends, i dont think that should be a thing but idk not very clear
Not much danger present so i dont feel like there is a need to upgrade stuff, dont see a big challenge here.
I'm just mentioning things that could use improvements, your game isnt bad by any means XD just some issues i found, but the idea for this game is really good and i could see it being expanded even more, great work with this entry!
This was really hard, recommend checking out Celeste if you haven't, they also have a wind mechanic which was used really well, could take notes from that game about platformers in general it's one of the best.
but you know what this game is missing? a timer! exploit the time of those speedrunners!
overall good entry
and im not the bot XD
Love this entry! This was so much fun, saw you show this on your stream, really nice!
I really like puzzle games but a puzzle game this dynamic I love, so many choices, im sure this is not the only method to win.
This is so good so well done, a cute and short game like this just screams Game Jam to me.
(Wonder if this could be expanded post-jam :o)
I do understand not liking the game for not being pixel perfect, I initially tried to make it so but there's a lot of issues that come with trying to make a pixel perfect game, I didn't think i could face that for a jam but if you do get to see my upcoming devlog you'll notice the first tests were pixel perfect.
But thank you so much for your compliments, really means a lot! And yeah a big release is planned, there will be updates too if you want to keep up with the game :)
Happy you enjoyed the game!
Thank you! You must have been on the stream, but yeah I thought that physics processes were handled in a fixed rate (or maybe they should be) and so a lot of the physics i didn't multiply by delta 😭 well at least i learned what the problem was.
Yeah I have ideas to make the one gun more interesting but im planning to add more weapons too to choose from the start.
I'll work on more juicy goodness too.
Thank you a lot for the feed back, means a lot! Happy you enjoyed!
Thank you for playing! I'm glad that the design worked well as it did, and the typos in the game aren't actually my fault lol. The font for some reason turns Ms to Ns when its repeated in the same label for some reason 😅
And the audio i don't really know whats happening there cuz the game sounds fine to be but, thank you!
Looks like we went for a similar-ish idea lol, very nice what you did here.
choosing the difficulty is also choosing the earnings.
if i could change one thing, it would be the bullet speeds, its a bit too much to take in and i feel like the bullets should have more variation in terms of behaviour, i see the pumpkin is different but the rest seem the same to me,
either way GREAT job on this game!
The art was so cute, there was a bit of stress of course for a challenge and the game poses some interesting choices, building bridges is very much needed and im glad i didnt waste my wood, the last twist of your water and berries running out scares me a lot and barely got out of the last stage lol
Such a well made game, great job!
