Sorry for the late reply. Unforeseen events in the last couple of weeks took up a lot of my attention, so that it was hard to find the time to bring you my bug report. However I tried to email it to you a couple of days ago, but got the same error message that I got the first time around. So I'll just give you my bug report here. If this is something you have  fixed since I discovered, feel free to ignore it, but if not, I hope it can help you to pinpoint and fix the problem

The bug, at least I assume it is a bug is this: When I last made a playthrough, somewhere in the second half of last year, my MC was given a choice who to talk with/visit late evening/at night near the end of the published parts. Since I'd already explored the options of visiting the pirate captain, I wanted my MC to visit Lea this time around. But when choosing that option I was quickly redirected to choosing between whether to visit the pirate captain or not, without ever getting the chance to visiting Lea. Since I wanted my MC to visit Lea this time around and had already explored the option of visiting the pirate captain, this was quite frustrating. I don't think it had anything to do with not having a good enough relationship with Lea either, since my MC seemed to have a quite good relationship with Lea at that point and also had chosen plenty of options that were supposed to help starting a romance, and also had a kind of romantic and intimate moment with Leas while exploring the city. So if this could be fixed, I would really appreciate it and if it's already fixed, it would be really nice to know.

Anyway, I wish you all the best on your further work with this IF, I enjoy the story so far, except for the likely bug, and look forward to seeing how the story develops.

First of all, let me say that i love the rpg feel of this IF and particularly the level of character customization when it comes to abilities, attributes and skills. Unfortunately there are also quite a few bugs. I tried it last year and noticed quite a few bugs on my playthroughs and wanted to dive into it again to see if those were fixed now. However now there's a new bug that stops me from continuing to the actual story when I've completed making a character from scratch. When I click on "let's proceed" then, I'm just taken back to the selecting character class "page" instead This is a shame since I really wanted to try it again after your bug fixes. I hope this will be fixed soon.

As a general rule for IFs here on itch, if it's more than a year since the last update and the writer hasn't replied to any comments since then, you can generally assume the IF in question has been abandoned. Sometimes not for good, if the writer lost interest for a while or life events made it hard to continue writing, there is a (small) chance that that the writer will eventually regain enough interest in the IF to continue or be at a space in life again that is conducive for them to get back to that IF again. But even that is rare at best. So this IF, though promising, has unfortunately likely gone the way of so many other promising, but unfinished IFs here on itch.

Thank you for the check-in. First of all, I wanted to say that I've followed this IF since it was on Dashingdon and in Choicescript and it's one of the IFs here on Itch that I follow with the greatest interest. However, while making my(so far) last playthrough last year I discovered what seemed to be an bug. I did try to contact you at the recommended email adress but only received an error message. So I wonder if there are any other ways you can be contacted about possible bugs? It may be that this bug is among the ones fixed now, but it would be good to be able to contact you to find out of this is the case, and in the case of other bugs showing up in new updates, it would be good for me and others to have a surefire way to contact you about that.

I just wanted to tell you that I really like this IF and feel that it deserves much more attention than it's gotten so far. For some reason it rarely appears among the related games when I've been exploring another itch IF, I don't know why this is, but I do think that's a huge shame.

I particularly like interacting with the other characters and finding out their secrets and, particularly the Sarah romance. If I could have changed anything, it would have been to have less horror and even more focus on the interactions with the other characters and not having to worry about saving them.  Of course, you're the writer and the one who decides how to do things. But I wanted you to know that I think making interesting NPCs and MC/NPC interactions is an area where you really shine and that the discovering secret mechanic is a really fun and interesting one. So if you should ever make another IF without the horror element, but with the same amount of interesting NPCs, enjoyable romance and still using that secret mechanic, I'd be really interested in reading/playing that.

Thank you for your kind reply. I just sent you a report. Hope that is of help and made clear what my problem was.

First of all, I really like the story in general, most of the ROs and the level of customization for the MC. I particularly liked the customization when it comes to magical abilities, which I hope will be brought up a lot in future updates, and the backstory between your MC and one of the ROs.

However there was one thing that bugged me quite a bit when I read/played it about a month ago, which I don't know if is changed or not. If y That was in the sex scene with Ly where I had a choice between three different sexual positions/sexual acts and despite this it ended with my MC switching to the opposite position midway through. This made it feel both like my the choice I made for my MC didn't really matter and that the choice was taken away from me as a player/reader and I personally  really didn't like that twist at all. It's completely fair if you want the sex scenes to be a particular way, but when you offer a particular option, I expect the story to respect that option instead of deciding that the MCs decide on the opposite course of action, so to speak, halfway through. I'm not saying that the sex scene as it was written won't work for anyone(for what it's worth, I really enjoyed it before the twist), but it would be nice if there was at least an option for readers/players to decide if we actually want the MC to switch things around after all or if we want them to stay in that position., so that those of us who'd prefer that last option can stick with that.

If you'd already taken care of this in the last update, please feel free to ignore what I've written, but if you haven't I just hope you can do something about it sooner or later. As it was, it ruined a lot of my enjoymen of the Ly romance path. There are still two ROs who look really interesting, G and Le, so even if nothing's changed or will change with the Ly sex scene, I'll still be looking forward to the developments of those two romances. But I do hope that we as a players/readers will get the opportunity to at least not switch things up in that scene.

Anyway, I hope my criticism won't discourage you too much. Apart from that point I really enjoyed this IF, like I said, and feel that it has a lot of promise and an approach that I really like.
