It was not in the plans but a route where Jean is not transformed is something I have been considering lately. As of now that's the only chance. I might add something at the end of the story where if you are not romancing anyone you get the opportunity to tie the knot with someone, but that's a maybe. For now I'd recommend just keeping multiple saves.
You can romance: Eleanor, Victor, Amelie, Khai, Briwala, Lena, Marius, Seralli, Yda, and Evelyn. There will be more that will be added at a later date, but those are the ones we have right now, ah but Amelie's has just been added on the latest version on patreon se it will take a little bit to get here.
Khai's twin sister eventually enters the story, and you can meet another Nazurian based on a decision you make later in the game.

Because we are not making the game natively, newer versions do not give us permission to create files, which means we can't get the game to save. You can bypass that by opening the game through an app called Parallel Space though.
Sorry, I never owned a mac so I'm not too familiar with it. The only thing I can think off that's causing the issue is the game being unable to save. The game autosaves at every new panel, so if it can't save it will just freeze on the first screen. On windows I would tell you to run as administrator, I'm not too sure what's the equivalent on a mac.
it's not a glitch, I did things differently back in the day. After Eleanor's scene you have to raw visit the tavern (without any events appearing), you will find Eleanor there with a bunch of dialogue options. I belive the option that triggers the next quest is to ask her about the Emperor.
Sorry for the late reply! It really shouldn't happen, but there is the possibility for it to happen. There's a bottleneck in the story, and the event to leave Batria only fires when you've done a couple of other events. If you done them all, it should have fired so I'm not too sure what's happening. Could you send me your save file so I could take a closer look?
there are two at the moment, the first you can get very early game by just sleeping a lot (its tied to a particular day), the second you have to choose a particular choice when fighting a magic orc later on, though that bad end is bad but its not an end as the story just continues from there. I will add another bad end eventually for the main villain fight but I think that will be it.
1. Yeah, I need to remove that from the game. I haven't yet because I'll probably remove everything related to that for the final version of the game.
2. You can only make a choice if you're not romancing already. Adding an option to cheat on romances is not something I'm willing to do since the sheer volume of romances would implicate in a huge amount of break up/compromise scenes.
3. For which character? If you mean Evelyn, her romance route is... Different... So I didn't really add a casual route for her, though I might in the future.

I'm unfamiliar with the itch app, but I haven't done anything different than usual when uploading the files. Although, if you're refering to the android version, perhaps it is because the file went beyond 1 GB? I'll look into it.
Yeah, because we're in the endgame now I have been giving a lot of attention to the story. We are having a release every now and again without sex scene because the action scenes require our artist's full attention, and we try to have a release every three weeks. But when I implement Victor's romance I'll add it like it started earlier and add extra scenes for him.

Thank you for the concern. We are quite disapointed in the direction Unity has been going and are probably going to switch engines for our next project. Even though the changes aren't really affecting us at the moment.
The whole thing won't affect us at the moment. Development is continuing without a hitch. After the game is finished we'll decide if we need to switch engines or not.
