hey I'm a game designer and i'm 21 do you guys still need help? I also usually use godot.

I posted a longer thread with my spiel for credentials, but tldr I'm a medicine student minoring in game design so i've taken a good amount of classes on it and written quite a few design documents.

Hi everybody, my name is Neel. I'm a medical student at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a minor in game design at my school and this topic of mental health is super important to me. I use godot and currently have experience making settings menus( including button remapping), regular menus,  Finite State Machines, Platformer physics, hitboxes/hurtboxes and hit detection, input buffering, hitstop, screen shake, some particle/ shader effects, A* pathfinding. Currently, my profile includes a game jam I participated in last year as well as a following AI NPC I made for class. All of the other projects I've made are on my computer and I would be glad to show it to you if you are interested. Currently, I am working on implementing dialogue systems into my work.

I feel my background in the medical field will come in handy for discussing difficult topics such as mental health as well as my practical game development experience.  My favorite games are typically twitchy action games however, I feel I am fairly adaptable to any genre.

Thank you for reading!

Wow!  Thanks so much, this means so much, I played your game as well, and its sooo good thanks for playing.

This was a really cool game! we actually had a similar idea for our game but it's a puzzle platformer instead. If I had one criticism it would be that some of the later levels felt like sensory overload to me and sometimes I wouldn't need to even use all of the stuff on screen. I really admire the amount of polish in the game, I ran into zero bugs.

Thanks for the feedback! yeah, I noticed the character controller felt off, the point of the slippery feel was to allow them to be desynced but I've noticed it's kind of hard to make jumps. As for the collision at one point, we had a placeholder sprite that was a little bigger, and then when I tried to change it for the new finished art the teleporters would put them in the walls so I had to keep the old hitbox. Hope I can get better Thanks for playing!
