Hi there! Silly question on passthrough. I can only seem to get it to work if the file is named with "_FISHEYE190_alpha" which of course has no bearing on playing it via Shash-VR. Am I missing a simple toggle somewhere where I can just turn on or off the passthrough function? (Personally, I prefer going with the black background.) Just trying to iron out the last little bug in my setup :) Thanks!

Sadly, the change was rejected so native Heresphere support won't be coming.

Reboot got it working. Ugh lol

It doesn't seem to. The correct extension is .CMScript correct? Heresphere is reporting no script found. I can only seemingly get cmscripts to work by accessing POVR in non-API mode which obviously is not the best viewing experience.

And to clarify, it is local only? It won't work over SMB for example?

No sir, Plex does  not require DLNA. It's an optional feature, but not a requirement. I was hoping to get the base website functionality supported as that means your device would have full access as long as there is internet, whereas DLNA would require LAN connectivity (and really is just an alternative to SMB and not truly Plex IMO)

Trying to figure out how to bring the glory of my Plex server to Heresphere  (other than through SMB as some of the content doesn't provide audio via that mechanism, etc..). Currently it dies out at authentication, or if auth is disabled, it just loads up an XML form. Anybody else had any luck?

I'll be honest, blue does not mean much to me as everything is gray haha but yes, if the color scheme adopted white, I would definitely not have an issue. I might suggest it be white on enable and dim on disable but that's fully your call. Thanks for any consideration you may have for the request!

Yes, it's the differential in colors I have a hard time identifying. For me, I'm the ultra-rare, 100% color blind, so dim for disabled to a more light icon for enabled would be optimal. That's why I was thinking to just adopt the scheme for the logos already in place. I have no problem identifying the difference between the heart logo at the top and the one at the bottom, and I figured it would hopefully only be a minimal code change.

As of a couple days ago, this should be working. In non-api mode, reconnect your handy to the service in POVR, making sure to input your username as well. Once shown as connected,  you should be able to toggle into API mode and get scripts playing for supported media. That said, the scripts are pretty bad but hopefully that will correct itself over time.

For the color scheme to the 5-star rating system and the Heart favorite button, I am visually disabled, and I can never tell if they are enabled or not. I did hear of a UI revamp in the works, but I was wondering if you could adopt the color scheme from the heart icon in the top panel of the UI for the lower heart and rating system if they are indeed enabled.

Thanks for the awesome app!

Thanks so much for the info!

I was wondering if you are familiar with Stash, it's a 2d version of XBVR? There is a plugin for it which supports the DeoVR API.  The product almost works seamlessly, except when a video is playing, the progress bar is full as if the video is over and any click within that focal point or use of the time skip buttons on the controllers, resets the video to start playing over. I'm hoping it's a simple fix and/or something you are aware of and on the roadmap, but regardless figured I'd pass along the issue. Thanks for the great app; I've bought it twice in support! Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the comment, all sorted here. I was trying to adjust the screen by changing the projection value to perspective That changed the window to a bordered frame but kept the VR aspect to the 2D video. not sure if this may be a bug or not, no combo of settings seemed to change that, but using the Format option to apply the Perspective default, did render the video properly Thanks again!

This method also works with stashvr-companion, however it does bring up a question, are there any plans to support 2d videos?

Edit: I know it renders 2d as those play fine via SMB. Now to dig deeper to see why the format is locked as VR.
