I don't know if this is a bug or should be, but when I left the game and returned back to my save, in the white orb I saw the character you will control later on. Also, the number of life essence I get (the hard number for rebirth) is not proportional to the number of slimes, when I had 8, I got 2 life essence, and when I had 2, still 2 life essence. The speed at how much control (over the creatures) I get gets faster with more creatures, but that's about it.
They also disappear, which I don't know if it is a feature or bug.
Other than that, I have read the descriptions for the upgrades and they are okay, for the slime, I don't really understand it.
It probably means how much control (that's the creature bar called) I get for each slime, and the bottom one meaning how much life essence I should get. But as I stated before, I only get 2 even with 8 slimes.
A very fun game nonetheless, and don't take my comments as me saying the game is bad, just some stuff I noticed and didn't know if it is supposed to be or not.
Good luck on future updates.

So I am back after missing some of the updates and I have some things to say. I now unlocked the life essence/mind control/slime, and I can see very nice improvements to the UI and the story, but some things bugged me out.
First, it doesn't show how much an upgrade costs until you have enough for it, which some games do, but they usually have a percentage of how much money they have, so like 50% if they have 25/50, 50/100, 40/80 and etc.
Second, there is no clear indication of what an upgrade does other than the story text. So I know that ''mind power'' increases the amount of control I get, but by how much, be it a fixed value of +1, or a percentage about 20%, is not written. You could potentially add a little text box that explains the upgrade when you hover over it with the mouse, either the name of the upgrade, or the upgrade button, both are good options.
Other minor stuff is not knowing how many upgrades you already have, the ''currency'' having 3 decimal spaces and the start having flashing images of the cave area, which could changed with slower fade in fade out, or just be blurred and slowly get brighter by each waking up text box.
Stuff I liked from the previous one is that it now stops the control acquiring when you get the text boxes, before it could bug out the game getting 50 control when you weren't done with the 25 control story bit.
I am reviewing this from a gamer perspective, I am no programmer so I don't know how hard it is to implement such stuff, but by the screenshots, I see you have expanded the story quite a bit and I will play until the end, keep up the passion without burning out the candle.
very nice game, a good relaxing game to take my mind off of my impending test... also I found a good strat which is that I hit space at around 100 height and it works most of the time, reached like 80 seconds when I somehow hit the cliff on the right past the biggg slope with so much speed I traveled back and hit the left cliff with a parachute and then ended up in the cave, where I timed my jumps and clicked with the slingshot so precisely I almost got out the cave like a beast. The details are nice too, with the height getting more stuff and the oiliness making the boulder browner(?)
