Please ensure you install flycast in order to play this game, or better yet burn it to a disc to play it on real dreamcast hardware!

I try to fight but monge fast monge strong he slam my head with a rock

Pretty cool! Couldn't read the tutorial because of the games reoslution but i got it pretty quick. Nice level design.

No actually, this project has been a part of many gamejams, for example they submitted it as part of "jame gam 29". They submitted it, then removed the submission a day before the submissions were due. If you actively watched the page you would realise this, its constantly dipping in and out of gamejams to market itself. JameGams theme was "Falling" and the item was "Bean", can you please tell me what this had to do with that?

Secondly, i dont doubt this persons game is good. I didn't take any blows at their games design or anything, in fact it looks decent. I don't know why you felt the need to attack my games or what ive built but whatever. The only thing i was commenting on was this guys scummy marketing tactics.

Its not that i don't like your game, i haven't played it, it's that your marketing tactics are scummy and disingenuous.

Are you not embarrassed to post this on every single game jam ever? I have never wanted to play a game as LITTLE as i want to play this one, it has nothing to do with the themes and objects of these jams.

If you are struggling with the game please check out the youtube tutorial on the main page here it's a minute long and will help you out!

Its very fun, albeit quite difficult. I feel like i just wasn't getting it, those pesky desert tiles were really harming me and i never had any water.

Really nice aesthetic and music though i liked it a lot.

Thanks for the feedback, yes it's a super early prototype still trying to figure out what engine i want to use.

Currently wall climbing only functions as a jump, so you cant climb the big wall. Im still trying to figure out how im going to implement it but the idea is to have a similar control scheme to catmario in the 3dworld/land games.

Currently no gamepad support

Jump/double jump - space

Walk - wasd

Run - shift

Air Dash - shift (Air ok)

Look around - mouse

To climb a wall jump into it (Acts as a jump currently)

This game is very early in development, ive probably worked on it for 5-6 hours total

Very cool game, basically everything i want my game to be.

i noticed 2 bugs.

One was walking into a wall and holding down another direction (for example holding left and then holding down to walk down+left) would continue to play the push animation despite not facing the wall.

Another was, if you jump from up on top of this ledge and land in between a hole tile and a floor tile you can actually get here earlier than you should ( not that it really does anything)

Thanks for the detailed feedback for a game that doesn't really have much substance yet.

I'll experiment with circular colliders. You're right about circular colliders being more intuitive when it comes to players moving and dodging stuff.

Thanks for the feedback man. I'll make the doors larger!

juicy game really pleasant to look at. Something on the screen to tell you how many "levels" in you are would be good so you don't think of it as some sort of infinite runner, because i was about to give up just before hitting the boss
