Maaybe? Or just javascript if i want to try something new

You get 3 days to hopefully make a game in 3 hours. If you can't, you won't be eligible to win. That being said, you could still just upload your game, but know that you'll have to specify how long it took.

oh wait just realized it starts in 8h

why did i forget

actually nah i don't actually have time lol

do i submit a game

uh oh just joined

I love the idea! It's really fun and simple, and would probably make a cool mobile game

However, I feel like the difficulty curve is a little jagged, and from level 7 or so, it suddenly goes back to "easy" while the other first levels show an interesting progression.

I also thought it would be cool if you had like, for example, an outline/a half showing preview of the rotation it would show when you press.

Great game!

I'm pretty sure you can play the game, although someone would have to get to the profile and find the game
It's just that nobody can see the lists yet
If you wanted, you could probably make a post asking people for feedback

Probably will. Thought I had less that 48 hours but turns out I didn't check well haha

Looks cool!

I just saw this jam and I am considering making a game

It's supposed to have a theme? I thought we had none and it was just editing the first game lol

Yeah I meant making a game jam before the whole chain jam and getting the winner

Oh and also you could make another jam first, get the winning game and use that for the chain jam

I like this game jam idea, but I think that similarity to the original game shouldn't be part of the criteria, but more like if you can recognize the last one. I think that the point is to make a better game out of an original one, and there shouldn't be an almost identical game in the jam, in my opinion.

as long as you know how to use Godot :)

Add me on discord: RollingFire#6155

Alright, we can have a max of four people! So two can join.

We use Godot, so I’m not really sure…

I use Godot with GDScript, by the way. I already found a teammate. Maybe next time, or we could be three/four- but I'll have to ask first.

It's okay, though, just try to find a team of newer developers.

I just did!

Good luck!

I don't mind being alone by the way, just wanted the experience.

Just wondering if you'd like to be in a team. :D

If not, just to see how many ten to (around) eleven year olds there are here.

Edit: I already found a teammate, but you could still join!

Aren"t those two similar (if not the same thing)?

someone continue the chain

AND AGAIN

I'm eleven. My time zone is GMT-4, and I use Godot. I can program. Want to team up?

hey!

And I can definitely recommend at least trying a game jam!

I started to program since I was seven (and I'm almost twelve now) but I don't have that much experience with game engines.

By the way, my time is GMT-4.

Maybe you should try a team because they can help you not procrastinate in order not to disappoint your teammates!

Hey! I'm eleven years old, and I was wondering whether you would like to team up. I work in Godot, and I can program. I can't really make music, but my art is, in my opinion, kind of passable.

Thanks!

Edit: I already found a teammate, thanks though!

submitted, like, one or two games in game jams.

And I've been in a few.

I'm eleven and I'm turning twelve on the fourth of September, in about two weeks! I'll try to check your game if I can remember...
