I really like the idea and how you integrated different genres. I tried many runs to get most fun out of it but sadly you set difficulty level too harsh so that most people cannot enjoy your game. Here are some suggestions:

1. Triangles are essential variation of game but they're impossible to intentionally shoot them in current version of game. Making them slow is out of point(I really like how they maneuver) so you might want to either make projectile faster, use predicted shot(actually used in many high-speed shooters) instead of raw aiming, or add guided missile as a reliable option.

2. I'm not sure what was your thought on auto-fire, but since there are slow weapons like sniper or shotgun where timing is key, you should make player have control on firing. Alternatively, if your intention is to make this game more difficult and annoying, give some indicators of when each weapon is gonna fire like reloading gauge.

3. It seems like weapons shoot straight to the front instead of aiming at cursor direction. It can make some building strategy because most weapons are pretty useless when put in side hexes, but it feels very frustrating since I can't have strong focused firepower. Make every weapon aim at cursor and add basic predicted shot will be the most ideal control for your game imo.

There is also balance issues but in 48 hours game jam, I don't think that counts as flaw

Don't worry about long comment, I did enjoy your game and really liked it. I see a lot of potential and some improvements can make this game extremely appealing to everyone. You did well on jam and I believe you can do better afterward. Nice job and keep going!

Thank you for your feedback! My plan was to make animations like next rule actually move to active rule so player can see how each rule works. I didn't have enough time for that, so I should have just used more clear terms.

Thank you! I spent most time on designing rules and balancing so presentation surely needs some more work.

Thank you for commenting, good to hear you enjoyed!

Fun mechanic to play around! I think this movement would be great addition if used as special ability in other games.

I think the part that took most point off is camera and field of view.

By far the most original game I've played in this jam. Presentation is also on point. Great job! Control is not the best though.

Like the music, fun to play. Enemy death animation is cool and very satisfying so I'm little sad that player death animation is missing.

Concept alone is fine enough but I want to praise that you made out many different puzzle patterns with that concept. Great level design!

Nice game mechanic-wise, more levels with many puzzle patterns will do the trick.

This game is not the most pretty game or the most original game I've played in this jam, but definitely is the one that I most enjoyed. Nice job!

This game has very satisfying after you make nice messy piece of junk! I managed to make silver and then I realized my sculpture was too biased to get to gold. I think indicators of each medals can help with that.

(1 edit)

Nice concept and presentation. Provided levels are kinda easy and plain for puzzle game geeks, but I'm quite sure you could make more complex and interesting levels if you had more time. This game definitely has potential for that(last level was promising I would say). Good job!

Cute dinos best dinos! I think hunger gauge takes up too much space though(dinos from topside are hard to respond imo), maybe stick it around T-rex would be good idea to improve.

I played first stage thinking 'yeh it's cute but what's the point', but when I figured out how this game works it was brilliant. Nice job! Control can be improved though, or maybe I'm just bad at the game.
