I'm shaking and crying. This game is so beautiful. The music, gameplay, and sound effect really all come together to form this deep impression on me that I'll never forget for days. no. weeks. no. years. no. decades. no. centuries. When I'm old and decrepit, kids will ask me, "Where were you? Where were you when boowomp simulator dropped?" and I'll tell them, "The 14th of January, 2025. I was in my room at 1:30 in the morning when the world changed forever." I will include a screenshot of my gameplay in case you need it for data collection purposes.

That would be great if you did. I thought the fact that you did water physics in the first screen was cool. But yeah polishing the physics in the game would definitely make it a better experience. Saw this was for a game jam. It's a great motivator, but it can be pretty brutal rushing to get everything done in time, so I think this was good considering time constraints.
Hey, this is pretty cool. With the way the momentum sort of carries you when you fall, even though you can change direction mid-air, it feels like it takes some strategy to time it out and land on the platforms properly. I like that. I also notice it always put me in a safe spot after respawning. Don't know if I was just getting lucky every time, but if you made it do that, that's pretty cool. Not sure if I have any proper challenges, but if I had to give one, maybe you could try to replace the stretched platforms that you land on. They're not that bad, but they do stand out a bit against everything else in the game. I don't actually have game development experience myself, so I'm not exactly sure what the solution to that is, but maybe you use tiling or some way to procedurally generate the platforms or even just selecting randomly from a few differently sized platforms. Anyways, neat lil game.
