Didnt work for me either, on chrome

Haha true that! I didnt have dice game ideas and I was thinking that at the end throwing dice means taking a risk, thats why I thought that walking into traffic is similar in a way that you also take a risk in the sense that maybe you make it on the other side, maybe not :D

You've found a really fun and unique idea for this jam, very enjoyable, nice job!

Nice game, well done! Maybe could've used some music, but the sound effects did fill the silence as well.

Thank you! Thats what I was going for so its good to hear it feels like it :)

Haha eat dirt shark :D thank you for letting me know!

I'm glad to hear it, that was one of my favorite things too!

Thank you! Yeah when I was figuring out the piano keys I was like "yes this is the shark sound" :D I did the music loop with an acoustic piano too and I haven't played piano before so I didn't manage to keep it going longer without screwing up lol, but yes I agree!

Agree 100%, thanks for the feedback! Thank you, I will :)

Very nice game! Love that you have different evolutions based on the choices you make, my favorite was the bird. The artwork looks CLEAN, if you dont mind me asking what software did you use to make it?

I want to believe that this is an accurate depiction of what really went down over there :D Loved the art and sounds!

This was a fun game, good job! Like others have said it took a little while to figure out the controls, but once I did it was worth it. I honestly feel like this could be a good mobile game!

Good to hear! I was supposed to add more avolution options, but I joined late and didnt manage to do so

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Nice relaxing game, up until your screen fills with enemies! Nicely done, your game has very smooth gameplay, I also like the graphics and music too.

Challenging but fun :) It was a little hard to attack as player two

Loved this game, definitely my favorite from this jam so far! Nice idea designing the levels in the shape of the  earth. Art and animations were very cool in all stages and the music was very nice as well. I'll definitely look at the first and second stages as inspiration for pixel art the next time I'm making a game. What software did you use for making the third stage assets?

Nice art and design! A little challenging, but the more you play the better you get at it :) I'd like if the bananas removed more evolution progress

Thanks, that means a lot to me! I definitely will :)

Thank you! This was my first time trying to do graphical assets so its nice to hear you liked them :)

Very clean looking game, nice job! That 3rd level took me more time than I'd like to admit lol, wish there was more levels :) There was no credits screen though maybe consider adding that?

Thats very true :) Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing, for the feedback and for reporting a bug, I really appreciate it!

I actually noticed that too while testing and was interested if anyone who plays it notices it too, (because I didnt have the time to fix it during the jam) so thank you for letting me know.

Like others have said the physics are really nice, also very chill and relaxing!

The art and animations are so beautiful!

Gave my bonsai quite a haircut:

I must still be tired from lack of sleep since I didnt even realize to use "x" again.. Thank you!

I feel like there could maybe be something else here besides drawing the cards, so that you could influence either the points or anxiety level. This game did feel quite chill though! On the downside it got a little boring after a while, because you can only draw the cards.

Yes you were right! :)

No problem, I went back after Comfie's comment and saw that I did mix them up and it wasn't a bug lol. After that I was able to finish it! Yes it was super frustrating, but you really got a feeling of accomplishment after learning the logic behind it! I'll go give myself a cookie now ;)

Thank you for the comment and feedback!

I played for like 30 minutes, but eventually quit when I noticed that one of the characters changed the key from where it comes from. I couldnt figure out why I wasnt able to get through what I think was the final screen after like 6 tries, but I guess that explains it. Was it supposed to be that way? I added the character below so you know what I'm talking about.

I liked the graphics + the feeling of gameplay and loved how calming Maris's voice was, but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to use the sword. I kept getting stuck at this point since the speed just stopped on the hill :/ How are you supposed to get past this point? I tried using right arrow and D.

Thank you for that! I actually made it so for two reason. One was the menu screen tip that its important to listen to people when they speak, this is directed to people who might have someone in their life who has for example depression and they might not have even realized it if they havent paid attention. The other reason was that there were a bug if Pinkie is talking and you walk to the next point where he is supposed to start talking and due to the limited timetable I didn't have enough time in my hands to fix it without making the walks between points very long. I appreciate the feedback!

Hello,

I'd just like to know if you have a preferred length for the game? For example, what is too long?

Hello!

This is my first game jam, I'm going to try to finish a project I did in school this year that I wasn't able to finish in time. Since this is the first time I'm taking part in one of these I'm wondering how does this work? When the jam ends do we have for example zoom/teams/skype meeting where we look over each others games or do we just look at them ourselves? I would prefer if we had a small online meet-up :)
