Thank you for your support, it means so much! 🥹

Don't worry, we haven't gone anywhere! Just working diligently behind the scenes ☺️

Thank you!!

Thanks, I'm glad you like em! :D

Ty!! :D

Ahh what perfect timing!! Welcome to the fandom! :D

Ahh I'm so happy to hear that!! Thank you for your support! :D

Thank you so much!! :D

Ohgosh thank you so much!! (And so sorry for the late response!) It's really, REALLY great to get comments like these, it's so encouraging and just reaffirming that yeah, people are out there being hype about this! I can say that even with the delays this project has been a LOT of fun, I know I've learned so much about gamedev in general, and we're both really excited about the story itself. Thanks again for commenting and playing! (The blushy wawas give me life too.)

Ack, sorry for the late response! Thanks so much for the well wishes though! We're really glad so far everyone has been so supportive! :D

Thank you!! Yeah a wawa bday release would've been VERY cute but health comes first!

Thank you!! It's really relieving to hear that folks don't mind the wait!

Thank you!!

The brainrot is SO REAL! Thanks so much for playing!!

Thanks again!

Hi, thank you so much for this pack! I used the 'Playful' track in the demo of my upcoming visual novel! https://novel-game-studios.itch.io/omamori-a-mp100-fangame

Thanks again!

Oooh this is amazing ty!! I really appreciate the individual naming, that was definitely something I had struggled with with the interior pack and trying to find things lol

Have a good holiday! Rest up!

Oh gosh I'm so excited!

Oh heck yeah awesome!!

Oooh this looks great!

I'm a little behind on the updates so I'm sorry in advance if this was already asked or answered, but do you have any plans to do a building that could work as a library or a university type building?

This is really great work, thank you!

Oh wow, thank you so much for such a detailed answer!! This was really helpful, thank you!

I'm a little confused, in the images in the preview video it shows sprites and backgrounds using a whole bunch of colors but in the documentation it says you can only use the 4 green-ish ones?

Oh ok good to know, thank you! (I think I'd seen other jams that required everyone on the team to be added as Contributors so I wasn't sure if that was the usual process.) Thank you!

Hello, I was wondering the parameters for working with a team? I have a friend who is interested in doing the character art for me but I don't think they have an itch.io page. Do they need to have one in order to participate? How does submitting with multiple people work? Thank you!

Ohmygod yeeess!! This is SO COOL!

Oh gosh I thought I responded to this, thank you!!

Omg so cute!! I loved the NPC dialogue XD

Thanks!!

Enjoy your vacation! Rest well!!

Yeah and that's a LOT lol. Luckily I have an art program so I can just layer them how I want and then edit the tilesets from there, I didn't realize vc axe was so limited in its layering abilities.

I did have one final question! I know we're allowed to make edits of the assets, are we allowed to use the assets (or edits of them) in horror games or games that might involve adult themes? I know some creators have limitations on that.

Thank you so much!!

Nope, they won't layer right. I tried researching it to see if it was something I did wrong in how I uploaded it and from what I could gather tileset B layers on top of A and tileset C ontop of B (and I'm assuming the same applies for D and E.) So in these examples the berries are on the same tileset as the trees so it's reading it as the same layer. (Same with the papers and the table in the art theme and I imagine anything else that's a single item meant to layer on top of others, like shelves and desks and the like.) I'll try to see if I have the tutorial I was reading saved and I'll share it here!

edit/ Here's the article I was reading that breaks down the Letter sections for rpgmaker tilesets. It focuses on rpgmaker mv but its the same for vx ace as well. I
https://medium.com/@robotsweater/bots-guide-to-custom-art-in-rpgmaker-mv-underst...

edit2/ I did a little more research and that link says the width of the sprite sheet for animated items has a width of 768 but that apparently will only work with MV, I tried putting in a sheet at that size and it didn't read it properly. For VX Ace it looks like the animated sheets have a width of 384, but the tilesets for the environment all have a width of 512.

I hope that helps!

Hi! Thank you for starting to update the tilesets for vx ace!

I was messing around with whats there and I noticed some of the transparency layering doesn't quite work. For example the art tileset, the little paper and brush that goes on the table, won't layer properly. It makes the table disappear as though and shows the floor beneath.

I downloaded the serene village pack as well and I noticed the same thing with the fruit for the trees, it wont layer on them either. I haven't tested every tileset available yet so I'm not sure if there's more layering bugs. Is this something I need to fix in my settings?

Thanks so much, I love your work!!

Oh yes please, that would be wonderful! I'm new to game dev (participating in my first game jam ) and vx ace is on sale so it seemed a safe place to start lol.

A follow up question- the tilesets that are in there already are named like bathroom B C D E 01 or 02, does the 01 go in the B tab and 02 the C tab and so forth? I know certain tabs are for certain things.

Thank you so much!! 😁
