Hello, I was wondering the parameters for working with a team? I have a friend who is interested in doing the character art for me but I don't think they have an itch.io page. Do they need to have one in order to participate? How does submitting with multiple people work? Thank you!

Technically only the project lead (who I assume would be you) needs an itch account to be able to enter and submit to any game jam. Should your friend make an account themselves, you should be able to add them as a Contributor on the game following these steps:
- Locate the game on your dashboard and click Edit
- In the More tab to the right, click the dropdown and select Admins
- Enter in their Username or Profile URL at the bottom and hit the Add Admin button
- Send the URL you receive to your teammate so they can confirm
While we strongly urge all participants to have an itch.io account and join the jam, strictly the jam only needs one person with one, and then everyone who has participated in the submission needs to be credited in the fashion of their choosing both in the submission fields and in the executable itself.
