It's hard to say since the installer doesn't give a lot of info to work with :( Some people managed to fix the issue either by making sure they have a few extra gigabyes of free space, or by tinkering with the antivirus software which might be blocking the install.
Usually, that would mean that the device doesn't have enough storage space to perform the install. The game takes up around 2GB right now, but it's very possible that you need to have a bit more than that freed up in order to actually install it.
A newer comment above answered already, but I'll reply here just to confirm that you can indeed switch between main characters within the same save file by accessing the story menu, which is the top option of the game menu. The option is only accessible during sandbox mode.

You can start that event by accessing the laptop in Ayumu's bedroom, opening GossipUp from the desktop and switching to the messages tab within it, which you can find near the top of the screen. You'll find the message from Chizuru there, and you can start the event by replying in the evening.

From what I've found, that usually means the issue is with the device you're using in some way, which would make sense given that it doesn't occur in most cases. Here's what I've managed to find:

1. The apk is not downloaded completely or has been damaged.
2. Permission is not enough for app download and installment.
3. The security system of your device is too strong to install the app.
4. Your device is not compatible with the application.

This update adds 4 events. A bit more main story for Nemu, an optional investigation event for ayumu and beach events for both. A lot of the content can be done in varying order, so you might've gotten the maid cafe as your last event even though it's from the previous update.
Oh, is it possible that you tried to play on an old save? The third update changed a lot of core code stuff, and isn't compatible with saves made during 0.1 and 0.2.
Aside from the gallery pictures you get from completing achievements, that's all of them for his storyline atm. The one missing picture seems to be mistagged. I think if you uncheck everyone except Ayumu in the filters above, it should disappear. Thanks for pointing that out btw!
Don't be too let down for not solving the puzzle! We've heard from pleeenty of people that also had trouble with it. In the future, we'll try to explain what's expected a bit better or give some straight up hints. Have fun with the rest of the game <3
We've had some issues when trying to change that, which is why we ended up keeping the default. Honestly, until your comment, I didn't even realize it would determine the install location. We'll look into fixing it for future releases!
Apparently, finding game files on android is a real chore. I've had to download an alternative file explorer and found them under: system/data/data/com.org.androidset
We could compress the video files somewhat to save a bit more space, but the images are already compressed as is. Sadly, with the amount of content it has, it'll be difficult to further reduce the overall size. We are considering splitting the game up in some way for android releases in the future though.
I have no idea why is that happening, everything seems fine in code :( Try doing a fully fresh download if you didn't already. I'll check if anyone else has this problem on mac.
The other characters have their own pre-established dynamics/relationships and the game isn't meant to be a harem. Each protagonist will still have scenes with a lot of the cast and there won't be any ntr content if that's the concern.
The stories overlap at certain points, but they are for the most part separate. Not playing one of them would mean missing out on a lot of the content. That being said, it's totally playable that way if you prefer!
We're looking to keep the amount of content each protagonist has about even.
Edit: My bad, totally misunderstood the comment! It'd be fun to see which protagonist's story people prefer. We'll probably make a poll at some point to find out :)
Glad you enjoyed the game! The new update adds a lot of content, around triple the amount of the first two combined. It's already available for some of the patron tiers, while the public release will be in a bit under four days.
The android and pc versions currently have the exact same content.
