Happy to hear you enjoyed Penny's unique brand of honesty! We wanted her to be eye-catching, energetic and attentive, so a lot of streamer DNA went into her design- something between corporate mascot and sponsored v-tuber, with lots of evil panopticon goodness added to the mix.
We hope your corporate bf turns out better, too!

Thanks so much for writing about your experience and giving us your bug report. Sorry about the screen resolution bug- due to the time constraints of the jam, we weren't able to test on as wide a variety of PC setups as we'd have liked. We'll be patching the game throughout the month as we find and fix bugs like this.
In the meantime, you can try resetting your install's settings so that the game will launch and run in the same state it initially did- from there we'd recommend you play Fullscreen on a 1920x1080 monitor or in Windowed mode on any larger screen.
You can find Model Employee's local Settings File in:
C:\Users\YOURPCUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Nth Circle\Model Employee\NaninovelData\Saves
If you delete Settings.json, the game should reset all resolution, text, volume and screen size settings upon launch, and you should be able to play normally from there.
Thanks again for taking the time to write about this issue and how our work affected you. Have fun playing!
We've just recently released the full prologue of our visual novel adventure game 'of the Devil' here on itch, and we've love for people to play it and give us their thoughts! Windows and MacOS users can download it here: https://ofthedevilgame.itch.io/of-the-devil
of the Devil plays similarly to Japanese visual novel/adventure game hybrids where you collect evidence and participate in trials, getting to shout "Objection!" or "You've got that wrong!" when you find the opposition's lies. But it also draws inspiration from 20th century noir detective comics as well to create a vibrant, velvety art style that feels like a living techno comic book. Set in a neon-drenched cyberpunk future, you play as both a Defense Attorney fighting to prove their clients' innocence and a serial criminal operating within the blind spots of an oppressive police state. Both perspectives will be necessary to sort through the corporate intrigue and puzzling mysteries presented to you.
In this prologue, protagonist Morgan answers an unassuming Public Defender request and finds herself charged with advocating for the man who the police say has shot five people through the heart...and counting.
