Yes, it is okay to share. And yes, I would love to have the files. Thank you.

The scripture quotations should probably be replaced with a Spanish translation of the Bible rather than going from Hebrew to English to Spanish.

I love the name of the game.

  • I like the style of graphics. The visual style is consistent and fun.

  • The game mechanics are well-thought out.

  • The gameplay was simple after learning the recipes.

  • I look forward to trying this game with multiple players. This game would be fun in a party setting.

  • One map, a tree obscured my view of bags of flour.

  • It would be useful to have a “Help” section in the game that lists recipes and controls. The PDF was easy to understand.

  • The graphics glitched sometimes with characters displaying in the top left.

  • The tomato soup and sliced tomato look very similar while on a plate because the only difference is in color. Differentiating with more than just color would be helpful.

  • Adding controls that allow playing by clicking on the object I want to use and walking my character there automatically would be nice. I think the game would be more playable with mouse controls.

  • I could not figure out how to get black, burned food out of the pans. I thought the sink could clean them.

  • Slicing objects and cleaning plates took multiple tries each time.

The game was fun. I like the bunny illustrations and graphic design. Some text had low contrast, with white on a light colored background. It was hard to determine how close I was to producing the next batch of products. A tree in the Product menu or arrows between machines would help me determine my progress.

The concept for this game was interesting. It is simple and the tutorial was easy to understand.

This is based on old text-adventure games, which have relatively standard commands. https://pr-if.org/doc/play-if-card/play-if-card.pdf is a good introduction to how to play interactive fiction.

I do not know if it is possible, but adding a tutorial that explains what kinds of commands to use may be helpful.

Currently, the game is only winnable for Anfisa. I suggest using commands like “ask anfisa about family” and “give item to anfisa” to progress in the game.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree that I should provide more direction at the beginning of the game about the kinds of interaction that are possible with characters. The game is far from complete. I submitted it to have an entry in this jam, but expect that it will take months to get it into a polished state.

I liked the story-oriented game. The writing style was fun and the sound-effect choices were good. Having a dark or sepia theme for the spaceship interior would make the game easier on my eyes. Dr. Plankters character has low contrast with the ship, so he is hard to see. Dr. Plankter collided with imaginary walls sometimes.

I’m glad to hear that.

DiosYubi and I played through this adventure. I was the warden. The setting descriptions and map are great. I like the idea of using an encounter table to simulate the troll’s movement. During a fight against three adventurers, the troll seemed overpowered. His blast damage killed one adventurer and critically damaged the other two. A fourth adventurer, who stayed out of the fight had to defeat the troll, with Blil’s help. I think removing the blast part of the troll’s attack would make the fight more balanced. If your intention was to make the troll so powerful that the party would need to be stealthy, it makes sense.
