Hello! Medieval Folk music sounds really fun to do: Here is a solo lute piece, while this is a more modern sounding full band.

Hello!

My name is Sadao, and I make music for a wide range of projects, from indie VGM titles to mainstream pop music in Japan (SONY, FujiTV, etc.)

While these jobs are great, I have been looking for more passion projects to spend my time on, and rhythm games are definitely one of my more favorite pasttimes.

I've been extensively remaking a lot of M2U, Sakuzyo, and Camelia, so I can do those styles.

I also am well versed in most acoustic music (Jazz, Rock, Metal, Prog, Latin, Samba/Bossa)

I would definitely want to join a project that had a more ethnic, complex rhythmic feel to it (Avishai Cohen, ethnofusion etc.)

Here's my SoundCloud, but it is a bit outdated, I can definitely DM you more recent projects (just snippets to not trigger any NDA or Privacy issues). https://soundcloud.com/sadaoenoki

Hope to make your acquaintance!

Hi everyone.

My name is Sadao and I am a freelance musician born in Japan, currently living in Tokyo.

Here is my SoundCloud for those of you who would like to listen to my music before reading all my yapping.

Here is my Twitter, where I operate under the name Observer.

To make things as concise as possible, here is a list of everything I have done up to this day that I hope you find of interest.

I have:

- been ghostwriting for a lot of Labels, both in Japan and in other countries. This entails me to make J-Pop, J-Rock, EDM and a whole lot of other weird stuff

- also made music for a lot of video game projects, of which 3 are set to release commercially in the next year or so. The others were all from a video game jam craze I had back in 2020, when I simultaneously composed for like 15 games in 2 weeks.

- made a career out of transcribing music of every genre, from Contemporary Classical music to Neurobass stuff. I have extensively trained my ear to the point that I can identify almost any note that I hear, what instrument/synth/waveform it is played on, what chord is being orchestrated, etc

- composed and arranged music for a variety of festivals and events, music bands and organizations under a production team that I was fortunate enough to be picked up by

- studied Jazz Performance and Composition, Classical Performance and Orchestration, World Music Studies and joined a multitude of advanced performance groups when I was in Music School.

- won awards in several piano competitions, both Jazz and Classical

- been the pianist/keyboardist/bassist/vocalist for a variety of house bands both back in my hometown and in Tokyo, the genres spanning from Jazz to Funk RnB.

My rates are very fluid, and if you don't have much funds to spare I am more than willing to talk it over with you and we can work something out. My email is sadaoj.e@gmail.com, and my Discord is Sad#5374.

I hope to see you soon!

Wow the soundtrack is great!

That's great, I would love to work on your project. My Disord ID is Jade#3509.

Hi all, hope it's not too late to find/join a team.

I am a composer living in Tokyo, and would like to make music for your game. Here's a playlist demo reel of my work: https://soundcloud.com/sadaoenoki/sets/sadaos-demo-reel/s-EG2snauMR8u

If you would like to contact me my Discord ID is Jade#3509.

Hope to hear from you!

Hi! Sorry if the position is already filled, but are you perchance looking for a Composer? My name is Sadao and I've worked on a couple of other game jams. Here's a playlist demo reel of some of my works: https://soundcloud.com/sadaoenoki/sets/sadaos-demo-reel/s-EG2snauMR8u

Sorry for the late reply! I sent you a friend request just now

I would be glad to! Will you contact me via email or discord?

Ah, I forgot to link my soundcloud, my apologies.

Hi all, my name is Sadao.

I'm a Composer/Musician living in Tokyo who was formally trained in Jazz Performance/Composition and Classical Composition (modern era focus).

I have made music for a variety of settings (Orchestras, Big bands, small ensembles) but have recently started to professionally write music for video games.

I love chip-tune music, and am very handy with Serum, which I use to make almost all of my sounds.

I like to make synthesized music mixed with acoustic instruments in a variety of genres (jazz, fusion, funk, rock, country, even death metal), or some traditional chip-tune styled video game music or orchestral music ( I have analyzed and transcribed music from the legend of zelda series, and studied orchestral scores from people such as Garry Schyman and Austin Wintory).

Please feel more than free to contact me via my email (sadaoj.e@gmail.com) or my discord (Jade#3509).

I hope to hear from you!

My email is sadaoj.e@gmail.com, if you are alright with contacting me via email. My discord is Jade#3509. Hope to hear from you!

Hi! I don't know if you're still hiring but I would love to try my hand at making music for your game, just let me know.

I was thinking the piano fit really well into the whole mood of the concept, with the percussive nature of the key touches adding a mock footstep. Keeping the game completely music free seems like it would be great too, just pitching an idea. Hope this helps.

Hello, I think your game concept is really cool, and would love to design some sort of sound around the game mechanic, but with a focus on silence. I’m out at work right now, but I’ll post a mock demo of what I have in mind once I get back home.
