Haven't played this yet; saw it on the Switch store and I'm gonna play it on release, but I wanna say thank you for making this game.

this worked so so well with me; i think phrasing it as Zoning Out instead of going Into Trance really helped, as well as the interactive part of the game. I sincerely look forward to any updates, if any. Seriously, I dont know how you managed it but this game is so good, I'd pay for the complete version
I'm glad you don't relate! In this instance, I'd say that's a good thing :) The game would have been longer but my inexperience with making games cost me a lot of time at the start of (and throughout!) the jam :S Hopefully next time I'll be more prepared and I'll be able to make something longer! :D
I'd like to think I was accurate with how flashbacks feel from the inside;
The shaking hands, fast heartbeat, panic attacks, crying, dissociation (not quite registering what people might be saying to you, feeling like you're floating or that you're not quite in your body ect) reliving/remembering trauma as if it was happening again; that was all based on what usually happens when I have a flashback. My flashbacks aren't war-related, so while the symptoms were based on personal experience, the memory itself is not :)
Thank you for playing!!
