This was definitely shorter than I was expecting. I can't really say I relate to the character at all. is this really what flashbacks are like?

I'm glad you don't relate! In this instance, I'd say that's a good thing :) The game would have been longer but my inexperience with making games cost me a lot of time at the start of (and throughout!) the jam :S Hopefully next time I'll be more prepared and I'll be able to make something longer! :D

I'd like to think I was accurate with how flashbacks feel from the inside;

The shaking hands, fast heartbeat, panic attacks, crying, dissociation (not quite registering what people might be saying to you, feeling like you're floating or that you're not quite in your body ect) reliving/remembering trauma as if it was happening again;  that was all based on what usually happens when I have a flashback.  My flashbacks aren't war-related, so while the symptoms were based on personal experience, the memory itself is not :)

Thank you for playing!!

This isn't working for me, sorry:

It looks like the screen port size is too small.

Hi!! Sorry about the error; I've never uploaded to itch.io before! Ive made some changes to the upload, and I believe it should be working now! :)

It looks like something isn't working.  I can only see the warning but even that cuts off  with "warnings as a precaution, you are" being the last readable line. None  of my input attempts seemed to be doing anything.
