Okay, so the rules for wordcount say, "Each individual number/numeral counts as a single word when used on their own," but also, "Both bullets in bullet points and numbers in a numbered list are exempt from the word count, with the former preferred over the latter to reduce confusion in word counting."

If I wrote something like

"Your car is [roll d4]

1. Red

2. Blue

3. Black

4. White"

Which rule of number usage would apply in that case?  Should I count it as thirteen words, or only nine?

Good to know.  Thank you.

Is this jam only for video games, or are physical games also allowed?

If a player rolls 2d6 as instructed, the lowest they can roll is 1+1.  That means they will never be able to get the first option on the tables, only two through twelve.

This looks like fun, and I look forward to playing it!

Same here.  I started out writing a journaling game about the player character being held prisoner by an unknown organization while mutating into some kind of Lovecraftian monstrosity.  I ended up submitting something silly that I got the idea for and wrote all in the past twelve hours.

I wasn't making progress on any of my ideas fast enough to finish them by the deadline.  Then I thought of a simpler game idea while brainstorming what I could make for the Shitpost TTRPG Jam, so my entry is going to be a silly little game about being a weresloth.  :D

There appears to be something wrong with the booklet file.  Everything is shifted down and to the left on each page, cutting off some of the text on the left side and page numbers on the bottom and leaving huge margins on the top and right sides.

I'm going to try to make some kind of solo journaling TTRPG, though I don't know if I'll finish.  I've only made one simple TTRPG so far, and the ideas I'm starting to get for this jam are more ambitious.  It remains to be seen whether those ambitions are within the scope of my abilities or not.

This looks like fun! I started a game with my character waking up next to a burning oil well but then realized I have  a rules question: Is the player supposed to roll the die to determine the level of success of whatever we do with the narrative of every card we visit, or do we only need to roll for success on the face cards?

I also decided to simplify things a little by skipping the bullet tokens and instead using a third d6 to mark my position on the cards with its top-facing number representing the number or remaining bullets.

This looks like fun.  Is there any chance of getting a version formatted in single pages?

This looks like it could be interesting.  Is there any chance of a low ink/printer friendly version?

Cool!  I'll keep an eye out for it and practice my game-making skills while I wait. :)

You mention "next year's jam" in your Community Copies section.  Are there still plans to do a Transformation TTRPG Jam in 2024 or 2025?

Can this game be played solo, or does it need multiple players?

I'm confused by the event tokens.  The way the numbers are currently arranged, printing double sided will result in tokens with different numbers on each side.  For example, there will be lots of tokens with 01 on one side and 04 on the other.  Is this a mistake, or is the player supposed to play both numbers on the token, or just pick one, or what?

Thank you!  That's so much easier on my eyes.

This looks fun, but the colored text on colored background is hard to read.  Is there any chance of getting a printer-friendly black and white version of the file?  Also, you misspelled height and weight on the character sheet.

Thank you!

This looks interesting!  Is there any chance of a version formatted as pages instead of spreads?

The sample images indicate the game pdf is presented in light text on a dark background.  Is there any chance of getting a printer friendly, low ink version with dark text on a white background?

How long are players expected to hold their breath while playing the game?  Are there alternate rules for people who wouldn't be able to do so?

This is a fun idea with cute art.  For the English translation of the game, the card ranks should be K (for king) instead of R, Q (for queen) instead of D, J (for jack) instead of V, and A (for ace) instead of 1.  I would have liked to have had an A4 option for the full color version of the cards instead of having to choose between full color individual images or black & white A4 pages.  Also, it would be fun if you included an A4 page of cards with blanks where the numbers, words, and images should go, for people to add their own cards to the game if they wanted to throw in some more of their favorite Douglas Adams references or even expand the set to a full 52-card deck if they were feeling ambitious.
