The Concept of the Aesthetic is distinct from aesthetics as a discipline.
I am not sure what they are doing here with that rubric. Most philosophers of aesthetics that I am familiar with write a lot about taste and how subjective any qualitative assessment of art is.

Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy that is mostly occupied with what constitutes art and the sublime. Visuals are describing purely visual sense data.
