Thank you! Yeah, I definitely made the upgrades require way too much gold, will certainly change that (as well as some other balancing issues) if I update this game beyond just fixing bugs. Faster Workers does indeed upgrade your population, making citizens produce resources faster, though I guess I didn't communicate that very well in the game itself.

Quick announcement: I've updated the game to fix a few major bugs, though the version originally submitted to the game jam is still available to download (albeit with a slightly different file name - it's "Throne Of The Lazybones game jam build.zip" rather than just "Throne Of The Lazybones.zip" now).

If you want a more stable experience then I would recommend downloading the latest version, but keep in mind that v1.0.0 was the version originally submitted to the jam - the bug fixes were done after the deadline.
