Great game. Absolutely love the overall presentation. Looks great, feels great and sounds great!

Interesting concept. Was a bit confused that the hero didn't really seem to die...

But i guess this is a highscore game, so 'winning' is not really an option it seems

Not sure if I should have waited longer, but i would have expected some more to do in the early game. Got to around 500 in budget and still nothing really happened or changed.

Wow, this is an interesting take on the taiko gameplay. I'm impressed by the great introduction to the gameplay and the overall presentation.

Awesome visuals! funny to see how many people have the same idea in terms of themes in these game jams. It did feel like pointing straight up and shooting ducks there was the go-to method in this game, leaving little skill to the gameplay.

I gotta say, great thumbnail! Was a bit confused by the white/yellow/pink squares in the game, but overall interesting concept.

Not sure i get the full gameplay mechanics, as i placed some triangles and pressed start, only for the triangles not to do much and the circle simply shot through the walls. Could use a lot more (in game) explanation i would say.

Concept is interesting, but i feel like you could have gotten a lot more out of it. Still nice work!

Yeah i had the highscore and duck variants on my stretch goals but couldn't get around to it

Funny to see I wasn't the only one thinking of Duck hunt for this Game Jam. Fun little game to play, but i did run into an error when it reached 0 shots :/

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of the idea and implementation.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked it. Yeah game balance wasn't one of the things i spent too much time on. Just tried to put something together that felt good enough. And the game doesn't really end as it is just a high-score game (maybe should have added emphasis on the score when dying to make that clear...)

Thanks for the feedback. The idea was that there is no winning as this is a high-score arcade game. Couldnt get a highscore counter in though sadly due to time.

yeah multiplayer would be great, but i have zero experience with that sadly. Maybe next time i can try it!

yeah i agree, the original idea was to give the player a goal of certain colors to make. But from playtesting that did not seem as fun as expected, so the idea was scrapped and i just tried to make the most out of what i had. But thanks, glad you still liked it :)

I feel like the spreading fire could defenitely be more impactfull with some kind of extra game mechanic. but nevertheless pretty fun game!
