> For a moment there, I thought it meant I had to make an entire zine. (Whoof. Sigh of relief)

Well, now you have to make a whole Zine since you brought it up. Sorry I don't make the rules!

Ah I get your frustration. Have you thought about looking for Open Domain art that might work? It's what I did for The Thirteenth Damned Son. I can point you towards some things.

I wish I could help with suggestions, besides use heavy Ink lines, good lighting, and no flash; and up the contrast when you have it on your image editor, it should make it easier to take and edit in a program like Gimp.

Honestly I second this Nell, a simple Artifact can be made in an afternoon. I'd be more than happy to help. I've always been better at collaborating with others to help them than finishing my own projects, and since I've at least got something out (which people have been very kind about.) I've got room to help out :)

I personally tried to keep my content to 1 'spread' or 2 pages. Makes it probably easier for Rugose if it ever makes it to print.

Thank you! I didn't see the other category.

Honestly, if my crappy content wormed it's way into a Zine I wouldn't mind at all. It'd just be really cool to hear if people liked my things.

I've taken your suggestion and used more of the Lore of the Jersey Devil to create an accompanying adventure :) Thank you for your suggestion.

What tools would you recommend by the way Rugose for someone with no actual skills, with just a half-decent PC and a 15  year old Bamboo Tablet? I'm currently using GIMP, but would love to know if there's smarter options out there.

Get that print copy kickstarted and I will THROW money at this.

That's what I've started to do, so many half-finished Evernote projects that I increasingly got intimidated by because I've no idea how to do layouts, or draw, or edit haha.  I've got just enough to submit to a Jam now. I think that's my start, I'm hoping to maybe do a couple more Folklore monsters and creatures and maybe I can successfully cobble them together into a little booklet :)

Thank you! I was hoping to leave it a bit vague as a 'If you know, you know' for people since the Jersey Devil is a pretty common folklore monster here in North America, but I'll definitely see if I can maybe punch up some more Real World Lore into the Dying World Versions' description.

Haha I'm already on there. :)

I've gotta get on the Facebook group. I've been annoying D&D groups and Indie RPG groups with Mork Borg memes lately.

I put all my energy into today to put something together to at least qualify the for this Game Jam, but I'm my own worst enemy. I tend to have troubles completing any of my projects ever.

You all seem to be able to just churn out material like it's a side-effect of your breathing.

Tell me your dark secrets, who do I have to sacrifice to be like you?

I'm going to be working on a YZE hack focused around a Persian Myth, 'Zahak the Serpent King'.

The Game will center around trying to build a rebellion and taking back Persia province by province.

Any chance that the playlist might make it's way to Youtube?
